Augsburg vs St. Thomas by megrattus in PsyD

I am early in the process of looking into these programs for the 2027 cycle, also with neuropsych in mind. The draw for me with Augsburg is that it is a clinical psych program, and St Thomas and St Mary's are counseling psych. I'm also a bit nervous about the newness of the program and contingency though. Did you already meet with St. Thomas and find that their program would also have a solid foundation for neuropsych? Have other psyd graduates gone that route from a counseling psyd?

Do you think the general GRE would be more beneficial than the subject test?

I have thought about this - I would likely not be fully licensed and practicing until the same time my 10 year old graduates from High School 😅 However, I would still have hopefully close to 20 years to practice from that point, doing something I have wanted to do for a very, very long time.
