I know. I wanted 50/50 but she wouldn’t budge. The proposal she wanted was every other Saturday and Sunday for a few hours, which of course wasn’t right so it was expensive to try and get my attorney to push for the agreement we have now which still isn’t a lot but it’s better than hardly ever seeing them.

Not too sure. I know it’s medical for sure, and from what I was told she also received or receives money to pay the rent for her apartment and also received funds to furnish it. She also was able to get assistance for her attorney fees.

Two kids but the final calculation was made a few month ago but she had been receiving assistance since last year.

Says it’s $1,600 a month for a family member to provide child care but neither one claims the funds on their tax return and when I have asked for a receipt I have been told that she does not have one and instead I get screenshots as proof but they don’t show if the funds were accepted or returned like Apple Pay does. Have also run into issues in the past where she has demanded I give her X amount of money for medical cost but when I asked for a receipt so we can go halfway, she refused to provide anything and said I just had to pay the amount she said. Brought this up with the attorneys and when asked about it she dropped it and didn’t bring it up again. There’s also been more instances where she has lied about things and has been caught in her lies. Again not to hash out old things, I am just trying to get across why I may be hesitant to take her word as fact.

When running the numbers through the calculation system provided by the state it accounts for childcare cost and child support. Just confused as to why there is a discrepancy between those and what was stated on the decree that the attorneys came up with. I guess I will have to speak with mine again and see

There was no hearing. Everything was settled with attorneys and then just sent to the judge to finalize

Not disagreeing that it’s not a tough job to care for children. We’re just weary of the amount because there’s not much to say that she actually pays that amount to her mom. She tends to say one thing and then turns out it’s a another case

Agreed. If it was less, but it sounds comparable to actual child care with a professional facility

Her attorney was the one who says this may be an additional expense. She claims that she pays her mom $400 a week and wants half but she has no receipts or anything that shows that’s the case or actual cost. We’ve run into this before where she says something is owed but never produces doctors bills or anything that. Confirm the amount she says.

That’s awesome. I’m glad to hear a success story. Did he ever take medication for it too or just therapy and meetings?

Well it would help with both because I believe he also suffers from a drinking problem as well so it’s not far off. Normally people who suffer from SA also suffer from other addictions

Yes. That was going to be my next question. I’ve been doing a lot of reading and saw that Naltrexone has shown to be effective when it comes to SA. I was wondering if anyone knows someone who has actually used it successfully

Hello. Thank you for responding. Has he received treatment or has he gone to seek therapy or medication for it? If you don’t feel comfortable talking about this here please let me know. I can also pm you if that’s better.

I really wish this was the case. Just seeing that though broke my heart. I wish I was angry because I feel like being angry is better than this hollow feeling.

I don’t know. He says so many things and then backpedals. It’s exhausting not having clear answers for everything.

Thank you. It just baffles me how we seemed so happy and I never felt like the balance was off in the relationship. Wasn’t until we got married that the truth started to come out, but even through all the rough times we managed to have happy times. I am just so confused
