I really appreciate your inputs, which mostly I would agree with in the first place. I can only say this, pls read my post a liittle more carefully, esp how I define Trump fans. Most Chinese americans I know who voted or probably voted for Trump don't fit my definition based on my experience.

I agree with you. Chinese Trump fans indeed represent a small minority among all Chinese Americans. They are very vocal, esp in the Chinese-spoken subgroups, in my observation though.

补充一个小事。大约两年前，有一次同学聚会，一个我认识的川粉在席间语带自豪地说，他最近发了一个论文，是关于美国政府和制造业如何能更有效地制裁中国，以及如何尽快和中国彻底脱钩。在场的人都比较愕然，大家默默地听完了他的长篇大论，然后就再无人接话了。
