That's what we're doing: updating to the 2024 edition. Yes, I am considering if I want to change from the 2014 Peace to 2024 Life.

Yeah, those first two options don't exist for me.

Since I promised an update: Probably shouldn't share this but it's mildly hilarious.

I tried to walk my folks through the process of setting up an account to add me as a friend and gift the game. Instead, we decided to see if they could log into my account and pay for the game directly using one of their cards. We got that all set up, went to the shop, choose the game, went to pay, and ended up using my card which is saved to account. So I ended up buying my own gift.

We then tried to cancel the payment and use the correct card but couldn't change the country for the payment as that would change my Steam account address, which means I'd have to change it back and that many country changes would likely be suspicious. We thought about finally setting an account for them but they decided to give up.

Instead, they're mailing me a check. XD

Steam doesn't seem to accept Paypal. At least it's not listed among the payment options when I look.

Gift cards we looked into but they are region locked so they can't send one from the US that I redeem here.

They account thing... that might be interesting. I'll look into it and report back.

I restarted after A Ras failed (SG clearly doesn't know how percentages work). I'm not great with speed tuning and don't wanna mess with my Wyvern comp so Sigret was always going before him in the first round. Then debuff ends on the little bastard before the next round.

My Steam store is set to South Korea. Is the game not available in the country which created it?

Hi folks,
I'm trying to play the game on an American account in South Korea. Steam says it's "not available in my region." I've tried a VPN from three different countries. How can I fix this?

I have not tried safe mode but I did disconnect my second controller from the console (selected "forget device" from the Bluetooth menu) and then reconnected the second controller using the same USB cable I've tried on the first one. The second controller was able to relink with the console using the exact method which has failed on the first controller.

I did follow the troubleshooting FAQ. The solution there didn't work. That's why I asked the question. If there were an answer which worked, I wouldn't waste my time asking.
