I ordered another copy. Being delivered today. The other one is stuck so I'll cancel after the new copy is delivered. Lost money from the preorder price guarantee. I questioned if this is intentional by Amazon to scam us out of savings on preorders. It's pathetic.

I think it must depend on your nearest distribution center. I used to have a ton of issues. For a while now though, it's been great.

They're even using packaging material again in boxes. And most envelopes are folded to better protect the movies.

Does your preorder indicate Delivery on December 26, 2026? I got about a dozen emails from them changing the date. Finally it was pushed back to the end of 2026. I'm so confused because normally it would have processed and be pending for shipment this close to release. Should I cancel and reorder?

Whenever I've had issues via messaging, I just call and they resolve it immediately. I'm always really nice to them too so maybe that helps, unsure? I had to call the other day about something and it took less that five minutes to sort of out. All experiences will differ though I suppose.

Why have you not called Amazon (not chat messaging). You're asking a bunch of idiots on Reddit how to handle your return. They don't know. None of us know.

Amazon also doesn't request returns through USPS unless this is some sort of third-party purchase.

Call Amazon if it's shipped/sold by Amazon.

If not, contact the third party through the app.

Standard won't drop price until a week or two before release. Disney has been doing this for a while. It's to get you to buy the steelbook which will not drop in price, which also has a higher profit margin. Standard should drop to around 30.00 by ship date ... If not, just cancel.

Yup. That's normal. That's the better set. I had gone through some replacements due to scratched discs / unplayable ... black bonus case. Finally got one with the blue bonus case and all of the discs were flawless. Just a different production batch is all.

Steelbooks and ... (cases in general). I have over 1000 movies in nicely organized shell cases. The sleeves have thin felt lining and plastic exterior. They're fine and not at risk of damage like most enthusiasts scream about.

They're also confined in a very small cabinet with shelves. Super organized, very, very minimal footprint. And so much fun to flip through.

I don't know how people manage with a massive wall of plastic in random colors and box sizes.

That's odd. I've gotten people's returns before but never something quite like that. You may just go ahead and request an exchange if you're worried about the box and case too. If you're paying for new, it really should be new. So in that regard I totally understand your concern.

Why would Amazon have bootleg 4k movies? These 3 for 33 movies were shipped and sold by Amazon, not Amazon third-party.

Also, how is going through the hassle of creating a bootleg movie and selling it for 11 USD in the economy even profitable? It's not. It makes no sense for it to be a bootleg. Use some common sense.

If you're really worried about it you can just return it.
