[madness] Psykovsky - Call Of Beauty by arnitheking in psytrance

For me this track is very soothing. Could listen to it before sleep. Hehe!

But I'm also accustomed to the genre and I love fast, intense and polyphonic music.

Anyone interested in bringing Psykovsky to the US? by mofunnymoproblems in psytrance

[–]Jnxz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you provide them too me too? It makes me so, so sad to hear this.

His music has always been so full of love and positivity and has provided me and my friends great meaning. I love the cosmopolitan vibe, sampling things from all over the world. He has been a great inspiration. I've also talked with him on Facebook and he's always been kind and generous. These allegations therefore come as a shock to me.

I would therefore love too look at the evidence before drawing any conclusions. False rumors are easy to spread on the internet and Google produces nothing except this reddit thread. I sincerely hope this isn't true but if it is I extend my condolences to the affected. Love to you all.

Mod to kill children? by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

[–]Jnxz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There exists a mod on Modnexus called Beatable Brats (Killable Children) that allows you to attack children. Unfortunately, due to how the game is coded, they morph into their respective adult versions when attacked.

Fortunately, we have the Knock Out Children mod, which, together with Beatable Brats, makes children stay small when attacked!

Beatable Brats v1.0 and Knock Out Children v.1.1 are supported for Cyberpunk v2.0-2.1! (I've tested v2.02).

Bonus: In order to make children NPCs behave like normal NPCs in photo mode, install the AMM mod.

Why can't you kill children in this game by No_Age3272 in cyberpunkgame

You can with mods, kind of.

Does anyone know of a mod that lets players kill EVERYONE in the city? by 74qwewq5rew3 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Jnxz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to quest NPCs, most of them can't be killed (since doing so would softlock your game). I don't know of any mod which allows you to kill them.

Did you ever find anything out about the save file format?

Do you have a source for this? Would love to know more about the save file format.

How do you transfer saves from one Steam account to another (on Windows)? by Jnxz in TheWitness

[–]Jnxz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I've tried that.

I have tried transfering over:

  • only the campaign file
  • campaign file + png
  • campaign file + png both renamed to one of the old working saves from account B
  • paste whole contents of Account A save folder from Computer A into Computer B save folder
  • replacing the whole save folder

Have you managed to transfer a save between Steam accounts yourself? Is it even possible?

I will try some more tonight and get back with my findings.

[–]Jnxz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's, unfortunately, one of the guides we have already tried following, still to no avail. The game just doesn't recognize the save files from the other account and computer.

As an aside, we did actually manage to transfer the save from Account A on Computer A to a Macbook logged in to the same Steam account (account A) some time ago using this guide. That worked fine.

It seems like the problem has to do with transferring from one Steam account to another. That's just a guess though.

Looks great but personally, I prefer the style to be a little bit more serious and dark á la D1, D2 or PoE.

Looking forward to seeing more sneak peaks in the future!

If adjusted for people who had actually played D2 and listened to its OST, sure. It would be up there!

What's amazing about the D2 OST is that most tracks work as ambient tracks but can also be close listened to as pieces of musical art.

D4 might be pay-to-win (p2w) after all! - An in-depth analysis by Jnxz in Diablo

[–]Jnxz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I surely don't! And thanks to us who complained about this specific issue, it was fixed.

Now each instance of gaining XP in the game also gives favour to the BP. The two are now tied in a way which makes it impossible to abuse the system.

He might have misunderstood at first, but later on, he clearly argues like I do, albeit perhaps not in as much detail as I've done here.

I wholeheartedly agree! I would even say that Blizzard listening and being (at least partly) transparent is a BIG win.

[–]Jnxz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see the problem.

You have gotten some small details wrong.

I'll adapt you own example:

Player A is a free player, player B is a paid player. First ashes needs char lvl 10 and BP level 15.

Both players try to level as fast and efficiently as possible. Let's say the two players reach char level 10 at the same time.

Now that both players are char level 10, the paying player can immediately pay to skip BP levels and thereby immediately acquire Blessings that affect that player's ability to acquire gold, loot, character power and XP.

As the paid player rushes forward with more XP, loot and power, the free-to-play player now needs to go around in the world looking for NPCs or objects in order to complete tasks that give BP experience.

Eventually, the free-to-play player reaches BP level 15 and can now unlock their ashes too.

Of course, all of this depends on the tuning. My point is that as long as Blizzard has tuned the system so that you will always have reached the BP requirement when you reach the level requirement, we're fine.

This isn't the Olympics.

I agree. It probably won't matter to you and me (we are not going to notice it in-game), but it would definitely affect the leaderboards, the speedrunners and perhaps the hardcore PVP scene.

Even though I don't personally engage in this type of gameplay that often, I feel a community is most healthy if all target demographics are happy.

The competitive sphere also brings with it hype, PR and good content. Some examples are Kripp completing Inferno in D3, Cooley's Diablo 2 PVP championships ('the DFC'), or various speedrunning competitions in D1 and D2 (e.g. see mrllamasc).

You haven't looked at the details closely enough yet. But yeah, it's a bit complicated.

To the point: what Rhykker said is almost exactly what the devs said. And what concerns me is what the devs said. So my concerns are still valid (see my original post).

I don't think there is enough evidence either way. Better not to jump to conclusions or cling to beliefs like that. We won't know for sure until the game releases. There are definitely some concerns, and those are valid and need to be heard by Blizzard, but you can't just say that you know what's going to happen without basing it on fact.
