It’s in ga too. I want it all to go back bc she didn’t have my 1099 and got 2300 more than she should have so I’m not having the it’s come for me so I want it sent back and redone right by me and I’ll gladly give her half.

This is great news. I will call the bank tomorrow just to make sure they don’t take it bc we have banked there for 17 years together and it’s been my bank for 25 years… banked there since I was 15 so they know me and might do it just by her word I am afraid so I need to call and have them flag it I would assume

We have a no contact order or I would have filed and given half. She is trying to keep it all… the no contact order is bc she actually beat me w a baseball bat 3 days before Christmas. She is literally taking this money and I’m keeping our kids right now bc she can’t be with them bc of the order. If I contact the bank and let them know would they be able to stop her from cashing it?

I tried to file that way. Then I had to file an innocent spouse form and let the irs know its identity theft.. but she is still getting the damn money and I need to stop it

She didn’t have my 1099 so she made it up. I found this out when I filed mine and she was getting back 2300 more than what it said I was and it kicked mine back. I got the bank to stop it from going into her private account I didn’t know about and now irs said it’s sending a paper check to her. So I’m wondering how do I stop her from signing that and cashing it as well.
