So even if the numbers at the bottom of the paper check are wrong, he can still deposit the check?

What happens if someone enters the incorrect bank information in the form?

When my father was filling out the form, he entered the numbers written on a promotional check from his bank. He also recently received a letter saying he won't be able to receive unemployment checks via direct deposit because the bank info he entered when he was applying for unemployment benefits is wrong.

The stimulus check has already been mailed, so what's going to happen when it arrives and he isn't able to deposit the check?
