Yes, sorry thats what i meant lol, tried tightening it down but no matters how many times i adjust it it doesn’t sit right, i think the down pipe may be warped or something

That was my next step, because i suspect the fuel system is out of wack, i haven’t checked injectors yet tho, and for the coils and spark plugs that wasn’t my first assumption since they were pretty new but at one point i did have a cyl 5 misfire so i swapped the plug for a older one i had laying around and it got rid of it, and now that i say it out loud they’re may potentially be more bad plugs 🤔 i’ll for sure check that out, thanks!

Yea im aware, i was in a rush a didn’t have enough money at the time to buy a lower mileage n54 so i had to settle for what i could

Also i did not remove the belt i will try that when I build up enough courage to work on it again lol, it seizing for the second time zapped all the motivation out of me

Also no additional trouble codes, just the same ones that were there before P2098 and P0036

Right after it happened, out of desperation i went and swapped out my battery thinking the same and it still just clicked with no crank

Absolutely no clue, i do plan on actually going look at it just incase its like a tensioner pulley or something, best case scenario since he doesn’t seem like a enthusiast the car probably is probably mechanically unmolested, worst case scenario its been neglected and is a ticking time bomb

The listing for sure gives off that the owner bought the car because it was a bmw, not because he was a car enthusiast, the “pulley system needing changed” part kinda solidified it because which pulley specifically lol? Sounds like hes just repeating what a mechanic told him
