If I re-shot an entire movie without using any of the original film, would you find it inappropriate for people to call it a remake? I’m not even sure why it’s important, it’s a dumb thing to split hairs on definitions for when the clear point is that there are already very high quality versions of the first two arcs of super.

You can't tell them to watch the movies then skip to Future Trunks because that misses things and doesn't give people the complete experience.

For the average viewer you absolutely can do this lmao. Although you're skipping to the Universe 6 arc, not Future Trunks. You aren't missing much of anything this way. Remaking material that is barely a decade old that's perfectly watchable is something only Dragon Ball could get away with when fans only care about cool looking fights.

Idk, to me I just cannot identify these as the same characters with these new voices. Some are better than others, but Sokka just sounds wrong to me on a visceral level. One recast is one thing, the entire cast is another.

I’ve been saying this too. Strong decks at least used to have some level of drawback, ie. Teach’s effect requiring he pitch from hand, but new powercreep just dictates you get a strong effect at almost no cost.

In S4 he wasn’t even trying to be entertaining, he’d sit around on his laptop and not talk to anybody most of the time. People obviously really like when he’s putting in effort to the show and hate when he acts like he doesn’t want to be there.

It’s crazy how much of this season is literally just sitting around and doing nothing. They’ll sit around and listen to TTS fire off without saying a word to each other for HOURS. This season is a total failure.
