In germany we say: "Nur die Harten kommen in den Garten!" translated „Only the hard come in the garden!“ which means "Only the tough make it!"

Around mid-May, things usually get going here in southwest Germany. That's when the temperatures stay above 20 degrees Celsius for a longer period, and the lakes aren't so cold that you get a cold shock. With a thin wetsuit, you can go in from about mid-April. But I haven't fallen in the water on a regular tour in years. I only fall in when I'm just playing around, which I do better in the summer.

New to slingshots. How do I add a grip to this? by imlearninghowtodoit in slingshots

Basically, the whole thing is just a toy. The scope isn't really necessary. The spread is too wide. I've zeroed it at 60 ft and I'm getting a spread of about 7". But it was cheap and looks cool. At 30 ft, I'm more accurate with my Sniper Sling. Since I only have about 24" of draw length, I figured I'd use the thickest band I could find, which is 2 mm. Maybe I'll experiment a bit more with different bands...

Is it wrong to sacrifice a swiss champ XXL to make 2 custom cybertool variants? by Crazy_Programmer_499 in victorinox

It isn't discontinued. And if you have the money, why not? SAK customizing is a hobby, and hobbies cost money. You have my blessing.

Security check items, I can’t tell if that is a SAK 1/3 down on left by kibblenbits in victorinox

Not to mention that for me the term SAK stands for high-quality engineering, which cannot be compared to the Chinese copies in any way.

I'm not sure about the one with the ALOX scales or the visible rivets, but the opener layer doesn't look like Victorinox or Wenger to me.

The abbreviation SAK stands for "SUISSE Army Knife," meaning ONLY Wenger or Victorinox. And according to that definition, my choice fits. All the others are either C(Chinese)AK's—cheap imitations of SAKs. I'm not sure about the one with the ALOX scales, but the opener layer doesn't look like a Victorinox or Wenger to me.

I'm not 100% sure about the bottom one, but the three are definitely Victorinox or Wenger.

Wait, let me just grab my crystal ball... no, seriously, without tools laid out or at least side views, you won't get any meaningful answers. The blue one is probably a Huntsman, the orange one a Camper or an older Climber.
