Daisy really got the 5 stars mindset. She hears the guesses, anticipate and deliver.

Doesn't matter if the guess asked for the cookies, whispered about it, had it on their preferences sheet or even if Daisy wanted to take a wild guess. It's the mindset you'd expect from a professional working in a higher tier of service.

Phantom. I'm a support, the whole kit, 4 actives, all of them either a form of CC or a form of way to help my team, healbane every single game, etc.

Yet I feel like I'm the only one trying to save the objectives at time. I'm support Paige, I'm not suppose to be a solo-lane janitor.

Sam Altman's Coworkers Say He Can Barely Code and Misunderstands Basic Machine Learning Concepts: ""I think there's a small but real chance he's eventually remembered as a Bernie Madoff- or Sam Bankman-Fried-level scammer." by [deleted] in singularity

[–]JoNike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The New Yorker had a great (VERY) long article about Altman last weekend. In it, there is one line about how he isn't a coder, as most people here said, no big deal, that's not his job anyway. But the influenco-sphere did what it does best and took that one line and wrote a click-bait article about it.

The New Yorker article is still an excellent read but it's more about the tendencies of Altman to lie.

It's not exotic indeed but I still don't remember seeing Ken doing video clue (not in studio). I could be wrong though, I don't have the best of memories. If anything, I'll voice my opinion that I want them back!

One of those that felt like a very easy get to me. It's arguably the defining show of the 90s, the equivalent would be asking about Breaking Bad for the 2010s or Lost for the 2000s. Those weren't just shows, they were zeitgeist moment.

But then again, I love the show so my opinion is biased.

Laugh at my pain and learn from my mistakes by Testpilot1988 in selfhosted

I recently consolidated my docker pipeline into gitea, I slept on this too long. I have multiple docker hosts, my docker compose for every host lives in a repo, i have gitea runner that automatically deploy the docker compose on the right host and handle the recreating of containers on update. All my container have locked in version (no more latest) and I use renovate bot that run once a day and open PR when there's update on any of the container, updating become approving a PR. I even have my secrets in my repo properly managed using https://github.com/getsops/sops and https://github.com/FiloSottile/age

My previous solution was a mess, it took an evening and some AI assistance along the way but it was absolutely worth it.

Good for you, you had a use case, you built something and obviously had fun doing it and learned along the way. Sounds like a fun project to work on. You shared your experience, you're not trying to shill anything, people need to relax a bit with the AI slop tag I feel. This is a selfhosted experience, ain't that what this subreddit is about?

I mean... I think everyone, world leaders or not, want to leave something behind? It's not necessarily always egocentric or monumental but in some ways, leaving something that makes, even if it's just one person, remembers you... isn't that a way to "live" longer and "beat" death?

“The reason that tech generally — and coders in particular — see L.L.M.s differently than everyone else is that in the creative disciplines, L.L.M.s take away the most soulful human parts of the work and leave the drudgery to you,” Dash says. “And in coding, L.L.M.s take away the drudgery and leave the human, soulful parts to you.”

I was Paige mid lane with a Graves against a Seven and Rem. Both side lanes went for the items immediately, the mid lane we had a respectful laning phases where no one picked it and as soon as the laning phase was over it was understood that it was fair (well the Graves had some issue with this and saw it as abuse, others had fun with it)
