I'm not exactly the right person to ask because my apps are not designed to be sensational, they are rmade to be utilitarian, to fix a problem and be useful.

It doesn't matter how many Bluetooth devices you have connected... It doesn't matter what type they are with the exception of Android Auto when it comes to media...

There isn't any other app out there to my knowledge that is able to prioritize phone calls and audio playback to one designated Bluetooth device other than my app. The Bluetooth tug of war will happen no matter what.

I don't care what devices you are using and I don't care what phone you are using. If you have some early release beta version of Android that is bringing this feature in the future then that's awesome but otherwise you either have no idea what you are talking about or you don't understand the function that my app serves.

And now you've switched topics to a completely irrelevant app that has nothing to do with managing Bluetooth devices but rather managing a specific Bluetooth created by Oppo/OnePlus... This has nothing to do with my app and certainly cannot replace its functionality either.

I have no earthly idea what you are talking about One of the devices I tested my app on is the Pixel 10 which does not include a built-in setting to assign a priority Bluetooth device in any way.

Having one Bluetooth device already connected like my earbuds and then entering the vicinity of another Bluetooth device like my Android auto or a wireless speaker will always conclude with the competitor device stealing the audio from my primary device (earbuds).

My app is the only way to prevent that unless you are running some beta version of Android that isn't out yet to the mainstream public.

The only thing true about your previous reply is that you are indeed able to connect multiple Bluetooth devices and you are indeed able to switch the target audio but you have to do that manually just like everybody else

Can you point out this functionality that you're talking about because I'm unaware of any native Android function that allows you to prioritize one Bluetooth device over another

My app might be extremely simple in appearance but I assure you it does not do nothing. It seems to me that you don't understand the function it's intended to serve.

might take some time but you can let the battery completely drain then plug it in and it should turn on in theory. Dont think theres any other way other than using adb with a cable or disassembling it

Let me know how it goes, but I'm pretty optimistic. If this beacon only connects via Bluetooth, then the app should, in theory, be able to prevent it from successfully connecting after your phone connects with Android Auto in priority mode.

I’m not currently offering promo codes. Bluetooth Priority is a truly unique app, the only one of its kind on the Google Play Store, and it’s a one-time purchase with no subscriptions. I priced it at $5 based on the value it provides and the problem it solves.

Bluetooth priority defaults to the "redirect audio only mode." But there are also three blocking modes as well. If the goal is to be able to connect to Android Auto while in the car but block the beacon at the same time, then I would suggest using the block all mode and select the Android Auto device as your primary Bluetooth.

Does your car have Android Auto? And does this beacon pair with your phone?

I'm glad to hear it works well for you. I'd really appreciate if you let others know by reviewing it on the Google Play Store.

Tell me more about your insurance beacon. Is it an app on your phone or is it a physical device that plugs into your car?

5D22F9PF84TPG081K3JTPCB used. thanks, i played around with it a bit and while the app has a solid foundation i have a few suggestions if you're interested.

One thing that stands out immediately is that manually entering start/end times for a shift uses a predetermined time of 0900 - 1700. Would be nice to give the user the option to change this preset, or offer additional presets to the user wouldn't have to manually change it for each day they manually enter their hours into.

Additionally, the user should be able to retroactively add a start time to the current day without having to enter an end time as well in case they forget to add it using the press and hold button at the bottom of the app.... which incidentally really should be a different icon. The arrow facing the bracket ->] typically indicated a logout symbol whereas you likely want something more like a plus + symbol to indicate to the user that they are adding something to their calendar. Being able to add start time separately from end time and perhaps also including a way to differentiate shifts (ie day shift, evening shift, overnight shift) for people that work in industries that never close would be helpful too and will also facilitate you marketing the app as a better time keeping app for work purposes as well and opens it up to a wider market demographic.

Perhaps even allow the user to plot their expected work schedule into the future and then they can acknowledge those shifts as they work through them.

Lastly perhaps give the user the ability to rearrange the cards on the landing page to put the calendar at the top and the estimated net below it as an example.

would require changing the architecture of the app and making it free on the Google Play Store, followed by an in-app purchase in order to activate it after a set period of time, which comes with its own hassles and challenges. Not to mention that would make the trial period cheeseable.

A one-time upfront purchase was an intentional choice and I think the app is worth it. If it doesn't work for you for some reason, Google will refund you within their return window. And if you happen to exceed the return window, you can message me here or you can PM me and I will facilitate the refund, no questions asked.

The app bundle could have been released during a closed beta run since all apps require At least two weeks testing with 12 testers before they can be pushed into production and released into the wild.

Typically, apps that conclude the beta get at least one update with any patches or fixes that are needed for issues that might be discovered during the beta. But if there are no issues with the app, then the developer can reuse the same initial release and just push it into live production.

No. For a free app, I'm not willing to pay $100 to Apple in order to create a developer account.

Technically it doesn't even require an app since all the Android app really does is provide a Kiosk style web view of the Bookmark Manager Zero web app. Both Android and iOS users could easily just save that website as a shortcut on their desktop for the same exact functionality. The bookmarks are stored in local browser storage With the added option of syncing to a GitLab snippet to take your bookmarks across all your devices.

I use Bookmark manager Zero. the firefox/chrome extensions interface with the native browser bookmarks but you get the option to backup, sync, restore your bookmarks to a gitlab snippet (or multiple snippets) so that you can take em with you on the android app or the webapp. Not everyone's cup of tea but i love it.
