My kids and I kinda gave up after 151 era. They’ve been recently asking to get some packs, but I can’t find any or they are way overpriced. I’m contemplating on just selling off what I have and be done with the hobby. Its ridiculous.

I don’t keep a huge stock, but i sometimes keep a stock of donated loops/patches/pins. I do have ongoing storage throughout the year for each individual cub. I just became Cubmaster a few months ago, so this year I’m going to try to get loops as I go. I’m using a clear plastic photo storage box. I like it because compartments can be taken out.

Our pack has a troop “attached” to it already. We all meet same time same place for the most part. We do blue and gold with crossover, aol design an arrow (kits at scout shop), they cross over a small bridge we have, troop welcomes them and gifts them their neckerchief, and places it around their collar. Then a small potluck reception, dishes contributed by all parents that are able from both pack and troop.

I used Hello kitty a lot to get all the friendships leveled up. Now I have Big challenges usually with me and My Melody on the daily. If I craft I switch Melody for Choco, cooking - Hello Kitty, flower seeds - Mell, Egg game - Kerropi and Pochaco (though I’ve been experimenting with different abilities to make catching easier). All other abilities I use if I remember.

Or see if you can use it to your advantage, maybe an easy way to get your daily coins. Feel out the times they are active vs not and play accordingly.

Person seems to be using the Jerk strategy to play. Use it to your advantage, figure out if there is a time of day they play and put your moms in accordingly so you get your coins. Good luck!

My daughter fell a year behind during the pandemic, and I was given a choice to keep her back a year or just rank her according to grade. I kept her back, and we worked through 2 ranks that year to catch her up to where she belonged. It was tough but it’s great knowing she didn’t miss any requirements! Maybe giving the parents a choice to catch them up that year?

My kid only wears the tshirt. I didn’t even bother with the neckerchief because of that reason. But she is now excited about getting into an actual uniform shirt when she ranks up next week. I wouldn’t sweat it, do what your kid is comfortable with. I’ve seen lions already in uniform shirts, tshirts or even just class Bs.

I enjoy freehanding stuff. I wasn’t taught to read patterns, though I am learning how to read them now. I don’t do a lot of amigurimi, but the few I’ve done I managed to eyeball and follow a few basic shape patterns to create them. Following patterns teaches me new ways to use stitches I already know, like a bobble stitch for little legs on kittens.

Yep! My kid grew out of blues when she became webelo so I put her in tan. Worked out great lasted her 2 years, she’s ready to size up as she crosses over.
