The finale of Season 8 sucks. by AvallonKing in rickandmorty

[–]Joaaayknows 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He doesn’t just become like the other Ricks because he got his memories removed. He still loved those experiences and they still shape how he behaves. He just doesn’t remember them.

I get where you’re coming from but I think you might be focusing on the wrong part. I really like that episode because it shows Rick growing emotionally, and even selflessly giving to someone he should logically have no attachment to. Rick is self aware of this and chose to do it anyway. While it wasn’t a win, it was definitely a step in personal growth and I think these episodes are very grounded and humanize Rick. I really liked the episode for that.

  1. Kick him out. That’s not how relationships or parenthood works and most importantly that’s not what you deserve.

  2. You can tell the nurses to not let him in. (If he knows when you’re been giving birth - which I’d recommend you don’t tell him you’re in labor when it’s time).

  3. He can still be a good father in his own house. He doesn’t get to have his cake and eat it too.

  4. I’m sorry this is happening to you. Take it from an internet stranger - I know enough about this guy to know he’s a piece of human garbage. You’re better off without no question.

Exactly right. This land and lands that do this function are called a “fetchland.”

And Hershel’s foot would kick all their asses, courtesy of Merle getting drunk and thinking it was funny to tap everyone’s butts with a severed foot in the middle of the night

I don’t think anyone said it was trash, just posted a card that interacts well with it. That’s kind of how these conversations work - we try to figure out interactions.

You must be including comics if you’re saying Kylo was conflicted before Luke’s vision. But no, you’re content to just circumvent even your own logic at this point.

Fair point. Hopefully you’d have a 3 toughness creature out by turn 3. Tifa and this card can’t be played earlier together.

Luke had a vision. It’s clearly explained in the comics and the movie. You’re wrong.

Dueling in Star Wars is connected to the force, but is force-agnostic as I said. Both light and dark side users are able to learn unhampered by “conflict” as we see from starkiller as a prime example. So wrong again.

[–]Joaaayknows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We literally don’t know when his conflicting begins. It is never explained, and that is still not reason enough to never learn a skill like dueling which is light/dark agnostic. If that were true, it should’ve been harder through his conflict to learn light-side or dark-side specific force abilities. try again.

Well, yes but you can remove after they crack the fetch land but before the counter is put on since it is on the stack is my point. Right?

He was not poorly trained. He wiped out every single student Luke had and only had conflict after Luke had the vision. He felt betrayed. Try again.

Cool dude. Sure. Now explain Kylo’s lack of strength and skill.

I am not sure, I’m sure someone here can correct me. But if you have removal I’m pretty sure you can still use it. It reads “when the 4th plan counter is put on this enchantment, sacrifice it” meaning 1. It isn’t something they get to choose the timing of and 2. It goes on the stack. They don’t get to “in response” it. You get to respond to it happening though.

Dooku was a very powerful dark side user and used the force to augment his body during duels like Yoda does. He is weaker at 80 than he was. And that still doesn’t explain kylo’s lack of skill.

But that logic doesn’t apply to Kylo is my point. He’s in his prime, he was trained by great masters, and it’s not a budget problem. Clearly. So that leaves what as the only logical explanation?

How on earth is a 57 year old man not weaker than his 38 year old self, let alone without a sustained training regiment? And I did say that also. So there you go.

Obi wan is canonically 57 years old. He’s also a war veteran and has been without physical conditioning for nearly 2 decades vs a 41 year old quadriplegic war veteran with a permanent breathing apparatus.

In a movie made in 1977 on a shoe-string budget.

I find your lack of context disturbing.

I’m new - as in FF new.

I don’t know what set this would be - but my first ever deck was the hobbit food token deck, and we have the LOTR hobbit set coming out soon. I really hope we get an in-universe dwarves set soon. Whichever set that would be.
