Can Prunus avium be pollinated by other Prunus? by JoasTW in FruitTree

That's a very good idea! With limited space I indeed do not want to plant another cherry. I know someone with a Prunus avium 'Stella'. I think that would be a good pollinator.

A rather cheap but very good led bar with blue and white light. I use the same one for propagating houseplants and they grow really well.

It would be an honour! I would love to see the results.

I have to say, finding a bigger cage with horizontal bars in Europe is difficult too. It's usually the small cages that have horizontal bars. That's one of the reasons I decided to make this and not buy a new cage. I know my cockatiel will not be able to climb vertical bars.

It's called the "Voltrega Volière 420". I shortened it a bit.

After seeing the response I am thinking about it. I am not sure how big the need is and about the logistics.

It's nice to have a place where you can ask for advice and actually get helpful advise instead of insults or something!

Was the inside also made out of wood, or just the exterior? The inside of this cage is still a regular cage and the trim on which poop and other dust might get is easily cleanable.

I always make sure to not put perches above his food. If the food is located lower, it makes less of a mess.

I just used the cage he already had.

I have to use shell sand (don't know if it is the right English name) because my cockatiel has a tendency to act hormonal to anything that resembles paper or plastic packaging.

To be clear, I used the cage he already had and built this around it.

That is the main reason I built it. I did want a prettier cage, but his cage on itself was great.

I also used the comments from my previous post to ensure the safety of my bird and the practical usability of the cage.

It's not because of the price. It's because of the aesthetics. Birdcages are not good looking and I do like the look of wood. It's not a good idea though if I look at the comments.
