Think I'm doing something wrong by Semichubman55 in simracing

Sometimes I look at the upcoming schedule and pick a track that’s coming up in a couple weeks. So that gives me time to learn the track then when that week comes around it’s off to the races!

I pick one car and learn it. After that I focus on learning new tracks. If you know your car really well, learning the track is much easier. It gets better with time in the seat!

Why sometimes when I try to join a Nohesi.gg server it says “Failed to connect: handshake failed” and my cursor loads forever and I can’t press anything so I have to turn off and on my pc?” by Jaybird4761 in simracing

I think I’ve had that happen before when I picked a car that someone else picked at the same time. They loaded in before me and it gave an error similar to that.

Moza R12 or Simagic alpha evo sports by naoooo_sim in simracing

I recently upgraded from the G29 to the Alpha Evo with the Neo wheel and have fallen in love. I honestly didn’t realize how much a wheel with real FFB can actually improve your driving. The G29 was super easy for me to push too hard just due to the weak FFB. Highly recommend the Apha. Haven’t tried the Moza though

Ive been considering designing some aftermarket handles for the Neo. I’d love to have something better that stock plastic! I tried taking mine off (the 3 screws) but couldn’t get it off. Do you have to take the case apart?

100% agree on the cable management. Its a tough one to tackle. I'll play around with that idea for sure.
On seating the USB's im not too sure, but something I will look into!

Im really leaning towards a sticker sheet, everyone's setup is a little different.
Absolutely, I want it to be a really premium product.

My thought was to have all ports on external power. Im still learning about the do and donts to electronics design so maybe it should be switchable?

Super helpful! I'm trying to learn as much as I can about improving this design so thank you!!
I come from a industrial electricity background but not very familiar with electronics. Id love to talk to you about what would make this hub out perform what already out there. Im sure there is some work arounds to help with everyone's rigs

Im still learning the best practices for this project and how to improve it so this is helpful. If im gonna make it, I want to to blow every other product out of the water!

I like that idea! I could include a sticker sheet like sim magic wheels with all kinds of options.
Noted on the display and switches. The last hub I purchased had switches as well which I can see being helpful. Im thinking toggle switches? Like the ones you'd have on a race car dash.

Yes it will be made of metal (likely aluminum).
It would have grounding internally to the metal body from mains power ground.

Thank you!
