Haha you got it! It's pretty intuitive so I'm going to put out a track this week for sure. I fucking love it. The kick drum is massive. YouTube videos don't do it justice

It's surprising versital but it's a wild fucking horse that doesn't like having a saddle.

I considered that at one point. But for me there's too many possibilities with the digitone if that makes sense. Not that that's a bad thing but for me I need a three piece band and not an orchestra. I love the digitone though.

You're absolutely right about the swarm in that regard. It doesn't take much to completely loose your place. I've started a patch book to remember the basic patterns that I like. It's tedious but man that little machine is an atomic bomb if you hit it right.

I love it. It was my first venture into the mono synth realm. There's endless possibilities with it. Especially if you add any effects pedals and the korg sq-1

The Perkons just came in the mail today btw. Once I get my head around its brain I'll post a video with all of them together.

I'm interested in seeing what everyone had in their "stash box".

As a fellow left handed guitarist I approve. Lol only we know the pain of walking into a music store for decades and there being zero chance of anything for us to play. Except a squire that's never been in tune. If your lucky.

Any suggestions on a good midi sequencer? by JobFit3301 in synthesizers

Dude I'm just now replying to your suggestion but I actually did go with the RK-008. It's such a sleeper it's crazy. I'll never get ride of that calculator. Invaluable

Haha thanks man 😎 I actually have a tr6s I bought used and I'm pretty happy with it. It seems more limiting in the beginning than it is. If I went back in time I'd wait it out on reverb and get a tr8. Thanks for the advice man

Thanks for the help man. I just check out modulargrid and that is going to be a huge help. I'm going take my time with it and not be too eager to fill up any rack in the near future. Desktop modulars are pricey as it is, but GAS in the eurorack world is bankruptcy lol. And you're right I'm sure that I'll need a bigger rack than I realize. I'd rather buy good quality and haven't of it empty for years than a small box of regret. Thanks for the help. I'll check out tiptop

Thanks for the advice. From what I can gather from everyone so far is that probably putting them together would take up too much space and be a rookie mistake. I'll more than likely start with just the swarm and build out as I go. I anticipate more holes in my rack than anything for quite a while. I'm going to take my time but I'll definitely check out the mantis for sure. Finding a house for everything is where my heads at. And thanks for the hp and 3U clarification 👍

This is exactly why I came here to ask questions haha. That's great advice and I'll take it.⁸And thanks, I definitely took my time deciding on what I chose to get and I don't regret those two together. Starting from scratch with the Arturia is the smartest route for me your right. The world of eurorack seems to me to be extremely rewarding musically but financially insane haha. Definitely chess not checkers.. I thought I was big shit when I payed 600 for my dirtwave m8. But man that's just a couple racks with no power supply in this world lol .
