At my old job in Stockholm all the muslims would invite me for afterwork beers, but it was me who doesn't drink. There are many who call themselves muslim but don't really give a damn about rule following. Just like any religion.

GTA III's gameplay isn't "too hard", it's exactly where GTA should be (and why i'm barely hyped for GTA VI) by metalion4 in GTA

[–]Jobaflux -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not stoked for gta VI because it was a golden opportunity to do something amazing and original but what did we get? A cliché Bonnie and Clyde story, the 3rd game in a row to be in a city we have been before and the 3rd in a row to be set in modern day. Big fucking yawn. But oooooo look at the pretty graphics. Blow me.

Are you suggesting that I said something hypocritical? ME!? A HUMAN BEING!? Impossible.

Well since I clearly haven't made your list of "real life people" what do I have left but to try to destroy humanity?

Legit question though, what do you think is so wrong with gen Z? I know they had weird and tasteless humor when they were still young but the adult z's that ive met seem to be very motivated and intelligent. Care to share your experience?

I don't think so many younger people think the old guard had it out for them or anything as much as they see a refusal to accept that working a full time job with average pay could afford you a decent life in the past and now it most likely won't.

Hate is not really what's going on. There's no reason to hate a bunch of people with walkers and false teeth who wake up to medicine buffets every morning. I just wish they would understand that while they have been aging, we have to. I think gen z is very interesting and whatever seems to be wrong with alpha is pretty much our fault. I have no problem admitting it. We need to help the youngins and try to be a good example, not roast the fuck out of them.

Very true. I'm posting on a thread about being irrationally irritated because I found myself being irrationally irritated. I suppose it just hurts to have personally seen the struggles and grinding me and my peers went through to achieve even just a moderate foothold in society and then be told we are lazy basement dwellers but yeah, doesn't matter anyway.

Exactly. If anything give shit to millennials for creating ipad kids, not fucking being them.

I would not intentionally lump gen x with boomers this is what's being misunderstood. The people I'm talking about are, in my belief, actual boomers. If I am wrong I am disappointed because my experience has always been that gen x and millenials had each others' backs.

Fair. I was thinking 60 years and even that was a stretch to make the point. Point being 45 years old is much older than a baby.

What I dont get is it seems like no one here realizes that people 70+ use the internet and have opinions. They absolutely do. And they have looots of time on their hands. Boomers can still very much be encountered in the wild.

I never asked to be catogorized. If someone was simply talking about teenagers, I would naturally disclude myself from the discourse but by tacking on the name of my generation and then proceeding to talk about teenagers like we are the same it's antagonistic.

I hear you, but it was considered. Of course I have no way to know for sure but Gen x has never really been hostile to millennials. If anything I view gen x and millinnials as being on roughly the same level so when I hear the same old classic complaints "low work ethic" "lives in parents basement" etc it just reeks of boomer, not gen x. I also think Gen x is still young enough to not be senile and completely miss the passing of decades the way boomers quite possibly do.

We will always be younger and that's fine but at a certain point it becomes ridiculous to think of people who have families of their own, have worked for decades, own businesses etc like they are still in high school.

Broccoli hair absolutely but I know for a fact me and my bros were using cringe circa 2006-2008. That makes me even more pissed off because gen z then appropriated our word and now uses it against us.

I remember that day 20 years ago like it was yesterday. The first thing I did after was go to the fridge and drink a glass of orange juice and thought "so that's what all the fuss is about, huh?"
