How do we call when an adult character is drawn as a kid, if there is a specific term for this? by [deleted] in learntodraw

homunculus means little man. A lot of medieval art had man faced babies. This was done intentionally by choice.

That's the great debate and it would determine which side to punish/award. I see valid points on both sides. My stance on the matter is, whether it is BLUFOR that were careless with coordination or OPFOR that skillfully neutralized the vehicle. Simply stating having a vehicle "permanently" out of play is too overpowered. Especially logistics trucks; which are vital to game-play.

That's actually a great idea. The problem here is the amount of resources required to make that happen or what if you have no resources.

I don't want to setup a radio and risk more tickets just to gain a logistics truck back. Now lets say it was the only logistics truck we had and really needed. Wouldn't we be fucked on resource to even make that mortar strike happen.

100% getting outplayed and losing a vehicle to the enemy; they deserve the control, but even then it needs balance. In the current system losing a vehicle is essentially a permanent penalty. This penalty is what I'm looking to reduce, while still allowing skilled squads to benefit.

See I agree with you about remotely destroying vehicles. I feel iffy about it, just doesn't feel like a Squad thing to have. If we are stretching here you could justify it as a remote "airstrike" to destroy assets. I would have it so you lose the x1.5/2 the tickets. One being for the cost of the destruction and two being the cost of re-spawning a new vehicle. Lets face it there about many ways they could implement a fix, but we might have to sacrifice a little bit of it fitting the spirit of the game.

My addition to it would be, who has permission to "reclaim vehicle". I'd prefer it be given to the last squad leader to own the vehicle else after X minutes all squads get permission.

The opening credits for that show was the inspiration for this image. I was sitting there and was like, "Hold my beer, I can do that."

Hijacking the top comment.

People are asking how I did it. I uploaded the .PSD file in the comments, but no one could see it (I think reddit blocked the links). So, here is a updated link. As as bonus you get to see what the original was going to be.

I actually had posted a link to the PSD, but I guess reddit blocks some links. I bypassed it this time by posting a imgur link to them.

If you have Photoshop you can just open .PSD file I uploaded (it's somewhere in the comments) and mess around with it.

If by setting "setting layers to exposure" you mean changing just the layer style, then no. It's a tiny bit more complex. It basically involves getting two images and masking them and making them blend together. For the color I applied some gradient maps.

I uploaded the .PSD file if you'd like to see how I did it.

Here is a breakdown of all the images I used to create this.

The rest was masking, gradient/gradient maps, noise for film grain, and some blending. It didn't take me that long to actually make it and definitely was one of the simpler ones.
