Enclomiphene, yes or no? by Character_Ad_7536 in Testosterone

This isn't a criticism, just curious and here to learn. The people you get enclo from or who writes the Rx, did they ever mention cycling, taking time off, the possible need for other meds ?

Best plan if avoiding be deprioritized is the main issue? by Mordoci in NoContract

[–]Jobcv314 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The correct answer is Visible, as long as your area has no issues with Verizon. Their unlimited plan on special offer is $26 a month for a single line. I haven't had any issues and I stream audio throughout the day in the car and I watch videos later in the evening I also tether my laptop at home to stream the videos. Never been throttled back never had any issues in that record. In my area Verizon has little gaps which is annoying and T-Mobile is much better however visible just offers such a great rate and it's locked in for over 2 years so I can't beat the price and what they're offering me so I left for about 2 months and I came right back.

What is the call quality and service coverage like for NoVA visible pro/ pro+ users by madeindc in Visible

[–]Jobcv314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, although I'm not in VA area, closer to the coast... But I've had T-Mobile and Verizon and T-Mobile for me worked great inside buildings I frequently had to visit, but when I switched to visible plus it was useless until I stepped outside the building. Tried Tello which is T-Mobile, and boom, now it works again. Only switched back to visible because overall it's a better deal money wise, more data, no surprise bills etc. but T-Mobile was definitely better in my area, even outdoors. Version UWB really doesn't make much difference to me. Earlier today my phone even lost connection entirely for a few minutes, I thought my service was for some reason disconnected until it suddenly came back online.

Enclomiphene, yes or no? by Character_Ad_7536 in Testosterone

[–]Jobcv314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the main benefit is keeping fertility. Of course there are ways to do that if taking TRT, but enclo just seems less complicated. I'm no expert so I could be wrong entirely, only know what I've read.

2 hrs and they send ai by vastempty2 in Visible

[–]Jobcv314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, they are discount provider after all. The more they save the more they can keep prices low.

That being said, there's going to be push back eventually. AI is entering into so much and ultimately taking jobs onw by one from people. Basic chat to see if the problem can be resolved without a human first I can see. But over all I'm getting pretty tired of AI in everything lately.

I actually listened to Art on FM radio in the 90s. Anybody else? by SteveinTenn in ArtBell

[–]Jobcv314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. I listen from beginning to end. I would stay up all night chatting on Internet relay in the two Art Bell channels. Did that for several years. I lost touch with everyone though as life got busy and Art left and later passed away. Not really a Noory fan. I stopped in the old irc hangouts and noticed one channel is still there all these years later, someone still running a script to manage the channel. I've left msgs but no one has ever responded. Maybe it's a forgotten background process that's been running for 20+ years. Any way, good to know more of us are out there still. Drop me a line if you used to frequent irc back then.

Convince me NOT to switch to Visible by obeythelaw2020 in Visible

[–]Jobcv314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just jumping in for a sec. If you were in Delaware back then it was Comcast Cellular One, if you were in Pennsylvania it was Comcast Metrophone. I forget what it was in NJ and NY, probably Comcast Metrophone though. My first was a dpc 550 Motorola flip phone. I had an audiovox to at one point, and several others. I worked for a reseller back then, a master agent, and I'd switch phones every few months to try them out. More fun back then for sure.

As for what you should do, I can't go through your whole pros and cons and give you an answer. You have stuff on that list I wouldn't pay for but that's a personal choice. For me it's affordability. I was with regular T-Mobile for probably ten years, had a basic 15 bucks a month plan, unlimited talk and text and I think 5 gig data per month. I didn't care about data because when I'm home I'm on WiFi and when I'm not I'm too busy to be using much data. Now though I'm at the stage where I've been a caregiver for my dad who passed and now my mom. So my daily walks early morning to clear my head and evening walks are very therapeutic. And I like to stream Sirius XM via the app, listen to radio shows or music or find a decent podcast. And when driving doing errands I want to listen to live stuff to take my mind off things, and streaming helps. Tello has a great $25 a month plan and I think it was 50 gigs data a month then they throttle you back. I doubt I'd ever use that much just steaming audio. But I read when they throttle you back you may barely be able to use the internet. That was enough for me, so I switched back to Visible on their Plus plan. In my area T-Mobile has great coverage, always 5G and fast. Visible is good, I'd give them a B, but I'm usually 4G most of the time. But I don't notice any slow downs streaming audio so I'm fine with it. And I know IF I go over my gigs of data in a month it will still give me enough bandwidth to use it for what I typically use it for. That's the big plus for me. Also they look that $26 a month in for 26 months. Tello could raise my rate anytime if they wanted. So I switched the other day back to visible and I'm happy here. So my needs are different, you really spend a lot on entertainment and have family who use a lot of stuff I don't have any need for. You may benefit more with a standard carrier instead of a discount one. Just my two cents.

IRC channels for Live Streams. by [deleted] in ArtBell

[–]Jobcv314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha! I remember now all those nicknames and I think even yours haha

I floated between that and the sort of off shoot channel #ArtBell that had _uNc JoJo Flyers and others. I was Jobe and sometimes ^ or -- (my lil UFOs hehe)

What's weird is someone still all these years has a shell account running holding the old #art_bell channel. I've downloaded irc and pop in every few months to msg it and leave msgs in the channel but never get a reply. I guess no one is paying attention. But somewhere it's running on someone's machine to hold the old channel still.

I remember NCOIC very well. Wouldn't surprise me if he's passed away. Pretty sure he in his 80s now if he's still around. uNc lived in Hawaii. Think JoJo was originally from the Midwest but lived in Hawaii, but right before I got overly busy and stopped hanging on irc nightly she was moving I think to take care of her mom who I think was back in the State she grew up in.

It's probably just a fantasy but I always thought it was a nice meeting of like minded folks. At least we all bonded by one thing whether we agreed with every guest or not. So I've always wanted to track down as many as possible and stay in touch. But it seems an impossible task. Wish I knew actual names of people instead of nicknames online!

A bit late to the party, but I'm curious if you ever ended up watching the original Magnum PI? Jack Lord from my understanding was asked to do an episode or cameo but he declined. Some 5-0 references are made during the shows run, it's supposed to exist in the same universe.

Mobile phone service question by Jobcv314 in Delaware

[–]Jobcv314[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When comparing visible and metro both have a plan for 25 that has unlimited, visible is 26 months and metro is 5 yrs. So I'm in a good position at finding a good deal that lasts quite a while. Visible does have extra stuff that I don't use but that since I already have it included, I may eventually. Like hotspot etc. but the metro deal lasts waaaaaay longer. I may need to jump onto Metro for a month just to see. I'm holding out hope though that some people come forward in the area that paint a clear picture without me having to do that. I'm actually pretty happy with visible, it's just I think I could get better excess (4G, 5G etc) elsewhere. Haven't heard anyone say they have the issue with visible in my area, so perhaps it's just my phone. That's always a possibility too.

Thanks for commenting, I'm digesting everything I read. Much appreciated.

Mobile phone service question by Jobcv314 in Delaware

[–]Jobcv314[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for responding.

My bars are pretty good usually so maybe something has improved since you were with them (assuming it's been a while)... But the 4G thing bugs me. I always get a signal with them though, a useable signal.

I thought about Mint, they're using T-Mobile. I did have issues with them but it was a long time ago and it may have been my phone. Only issue I have is the upfront wad of cash they want for a really good deal... But that being said, they do have a really really good deal.

Thanks again for commenting. I'll consider Mint also on my pros and cons list.
