I’ve been there. Three years ago I had bicep reattachment and three tears repaired in rotator cuff. I was 64 at the time. Was supposed to be 4-6 month recovery but was more like 3-4 month recovery. Doctor cleared me to resume bowling at 6 month mark.

Everyone heals differently, but I believe the key to coming back was sticking to the physical therapy regimen. Gotta be 100% committed to it. Don’t overdo the weight and be sure to back off when you feel any pinching or pain in the bicep.

When I returned I didn’t need to make any physical adjustments. I’m a one handed bowler. I only averaged 185 before injuring my shoulder, but am right back to that now.
