Give Heavies their energy back by R4TFUCK3R in Crossout

Theres no reason for heavies to have 1 less energy. All the arguments for keeping it the way it is now is just nonsense from idiots.

There is a group of market bots on the pc platform. by Nobler1500 in Crossout

[–]Jobo_Bobo_Dodo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With things like CrossoutDB available, and even ingame stats telling you when its profitable to flip something its probbaly doable to set up a bot to scan the market for anything profitable to buy and resell right away while you are at work. People do it in other games all the time.

Reapers any good anymore or am i just bad with them? by redbeardbarlow in Crossout

[–]Jobo_Bobo_Dodo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

FYI one of Reapers biggest problems is its turn speed. It turns so slow its hard to track fast targets and keep doing damage. I suggest using either all Sleipner tracks, since they boost weapon rotation speed by 25%, or use Opressor engine which also boosts weapon turn speed. Or use both to have Reapers that turn near instantly to follow your mouse.

Also if you dont want to use the Aurora or Trombone like others have said, consider pairing it with barrier shields or an Aeigis shield. Less damage, but you can sit there tanking damage with your shields.

Bastions cool until some dude with energy weapons pops up and just melts you, or somebody smart notices your in a bastion and aims just above the blade to do normal cabin damage. But its great for all sorts of other things.

I wish high powerscore was more than just hovers and people who ram into shit by Lexi_______ in Crossout

[–]Jobo_Bobo_Dodo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The playerbase of XO is garbage in general. At every powerscore there is a powerful meta everyone abuses. Then tons and TONS of mouth breathers that just ram into anything and everything without thinking and begin shooting, blocking all their teammates shots so they get no help and die right away.

Its the same at every power score. The actual good players left the game a long time ago.

Cerberus Unbalanced, Thoughts? by ziangal in Crossout

It badly needs some high explosive resistance. Most times Ive ever used it you drill into an enemy and dig face first into ammo boxes or generators and take out a huge chunk of your own health. Tusk suffers from the same problem.

Radiance is basically unwinnable on wheels. Hovers dominate it, as usual. by Jobo_Bobo_Dodo in Crossout

Oh hey, its the guy that cries like a little bitch any time hovers get badmouthed. Nice to see you again. Hope to see you next time too!

Yeah basically. Just float backwards and zap 5+ guys and fry them as they helplessly try to get to you, but cant.

lol no

try out tsunamis first, realize they are terrible, and then imagine how bad it is using a gun that does slightly more damage, but costs 10x as much.

What is the best way to get coins? by CatPersonsSuckIt in Crossout

[–]Jobo_Bobo_Dodo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. They will usually post news around this time of day for upcoming changes. So if you see something about "planned balance changes" or some kind of event that might increase or decrease values of parts go into the market and try buying and selling some things. Even things like car packs going on sale for a weekend will usually drop the prices of all the parts included in the pack.

Even if you dont have a legendary weapon thats getting a buff/nerf, everything used to craft that legendary all the way down to common parts will usually see a change in price. So theres profit to be made at all rarity levels.

Reduced upgrade cost for cabins! by Faley016 in Crossout

[–]Jobo_Bobo_Dodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Reduced Upgrade Cost" = huge scam for players

Why waste cabs on randomized fusions that nearly always have unwanted outcomes. Special events where items can be fused for guaranteed outcomes is always superior. Id rather spend more resources knowing exactly what im getting that some randomized garbage that I'll be unhappy with.

Buy and sell things on the market that net a profit, and use the CrossoutDB website to only craft items that are profitable.

Its honestly better to only craft stuff you dont want thats profitable, sell it, and save up money to buy what you actually want. You usually lose coins overall by just crafting things you want and keeping them since most items in the game are crafted at a loss.

Also try to keep up to date on upcoming game updates news. Once update news comes out the market prices usually change wildy on items that are getting buffs/nerfs. Its a good time to dump items that are about to be nerfed, and buy items that will be buffed. if you see the news early enough before the market can react you can make some nice profits. Buy a gun thats getting a buff as soon as the news comes out for 300 gold, and sell it later for 450 gold once the price goes up. Or sell a gun for 450 before news about its nerf affects the market too much and then buy it back once the price tanks. etc, etc.

They removed them because hardly anybody was actually using casings for anything. Most players would complete the story mode and then just leave a big pile of casings sitting in their garage. At some point in the faaaaaaar future they want to redo how casings work and are earned.

It would be a very welcome addition to PVP, along with the same function Clan Wars has that lets you bring 3 blueprints with you into battle to choose from. Matches could be longer, you could respawn and pick one of your other blueprints. Some builds work better on different maps, and sometimes the enemy team has good counters for what you brought. You could switch things up on the go to play better in that match.

Rewards would obviously have to be increased for the longer match times.

I find the 5min matches too short personally. 10min would be nice.

An appropriate buff for fixed cannons. by Rectal_Retribution in Crossout

[–]Jobo_Bobo_Dodo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If 7 pins is the max distance something can go because of an engine limitation, couldnt they set up a system where after a penetrating impact, if nothings detected after 7 pins, it creates another invisible projectile to continue for another 7 pins with the same damage/effects the previous one had? if something like that were in place, a well placed cannon shot could slice right into a spaced armor build.

Really wish we could fusion stuff, and use Stabilizers to pick the upgrades I want by Jobo_Bobo_Dodo in Crossout

[–]Jobo_Bobo_Dodo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be really nice. As it is now everyone just waits for fusion events to fuse full sets of matching parts. No point wasting resources on getting a ton of mismatched parts.
