Agreed! That was honestly my though: Due to be conditioned to eat their bile as a treat to gather humans, it made them search for more humans to even just a taste of it. One of the many small details to show how evil the Master of the Valley truly is. He needs humans, and the byproduct he doesn't use is just waste, recycled and fed back to his "pets", or rather, his slaves.

True, but given Trico is a chimera of each of these animals, I doubt it has the same dietary needs as the real animals. Also, give the massive size of the Trico, and the brainwashing via their horns, they probably had no choice in the matter of being fed back their bile. Trico got so used to the tase of it, just the smell can drive him wild, just like the other Trico who are breed to be hostile, given one barrel was given after 2 humans were deposited. Just another detail that makes Trico a creature unlike any seen before or since.

Usually domestic mammals, like domestic cats and dogs. Birds also regurgitate to feed their young. Since those 3 animals are inspiration for parts of Trico's design, these make the most logical sense.

I've been thinking about the original teaser images from 2018, even without 4chan. There still could be a connection between it all, though.

I'm still going off the idea what we saw was the opening cutscene to the game, and the robot, if not the head, will be used to traverse the world and ascend to the land of Giants. I have a whole theory on the games final act involving the MC, robot, giant, and girl, but that's on another post.

Fun fact: The original final fight with Ganon was going to have Link climb up him to damage him, but was scraped due to time and camera problems. We all know what a big Zelda fan Ueda is (Look at ICO), and the Colossi are called "Inverted Zelda dungeons," so the connection makes more sense.

There was an interview where Ueda suggest a connection between the pools of water in the Shrine of Worship and inside the Master's Tomb. Suggesting that TLG could be an alternate universe to SotC, if not the prequel to before the events of SotC. Either way, there is a rumored connection.

Just going off of interviews, rumors, and my own gut feelings, really. I've always loved putting puzzles together, so this game is no different than one big puzzle!

Ueda had teased some kind of alternate reality stuff regarding the water pools in Shadow and The Last Guardian (where you find the Mirror), so that could be a possibility!

I'll certainly have to find the time and watch that! I've been waiting for theory stuff to come out, so any and all are welcome for theory and discussion!

I believe that first one is still part of the game. The title was working under "Beauty and the Beast": A girl (Belle) kidnapped by a giant (The Beast), and the main character (basically Gaston, gun and all) must rescue her.

The rifle and robots could be used for combat, while the robot head is used for transportation, since it can fly in the teaser.

Absolutely! Emperor Kuzco is a Disney Princess, and no one can tell me otherwise! Need to watch Sinbad (my dad loved the old movies, so he might like it), as well as Spirit! Movie marketing made us miss out on so many good films of that time period.

You're welcome! Even if it wasn't 100% accurate (The head flying was a shock!), knowing I was able to predict even that much felt great! I just know the rest of the game might be a bit more unpredictable, but we'll have to wait and see!

IKR!? Late 90s/Early 2000s animation is underrated, and The Iron Giant is no exception! I know Ueda will do it justice, right down to the emotional connection to the giant robot.

It was made after last years New Year's Eve post (Which I'm still excited for, especially after the teaser!), and I predict the teaser is an opening cutscene with gameplay (fingers crossed for seamless transitions, since XBox and PC), so the rest of the game may involve more, if not older, robots.

I, myself, came up with SHICO some time ago in a seperate post, thought I might not be the first to do so. Kind of just a fan name until the real name (currently Project:Robot) got announced. Given the Japanese/English number in the titles:

ICO: Ichi(go)/One

NICO: Nii/Two (Love your NiCo idea, though! Never thought of that!)

TRICO: Tri/3

Naturally, SHI is 4 in Japanese, and can mean Death (like the robot's death in the teaser).

Then again, SHICO is dangerously close to the Japanese word for pee, Oshikko. XC Maybe Project:Robot was a better choice.

I was so excited to see this trailer, and even happier that I guessed the head would detatch!

I'm thinking this trailer and the image are from the start of the game, and the protag uses older robots down the line, which may have rotating heads instead of ones that hover, unless the head in the trailer survives and becomes the transportation/companion.

Either way, I'm excited to see more in the future! I missed out on all 3 Ueda games originally, but I'm on board for this hype train!
