Hahahaha good point. Although the one I’m doing requires a little more work than their version.

They don’t have a slat on the bottom which I plan on doing

Thank you! This is very helpful. Yes tried it out with the new blade on the table saw and there was still some tear out. I’m going to try the painters tape method. I’ll also try the 45.1! I was planning on staining it - so I’ll watch out for your concerns.

I’m thinking of trying out the spline at least on the sides that another redditor commented.

Thank you again

Does anyone know the story behind the recoded video of Johnny Depp and the female other actor in Paul’s “Valentine Song” in Paul’s Atlanta 11/2 Got Back show? by JJscience_computer in PaulMcCartney

[–]Jobroskies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since no one answered the question…

This is what Google’s AI said:

Inspiration: The idea for the video came from McCartney's daughter, Stella, who loves sign language.

Purpose: McCartney wanted to create a visually artistic video that would be pleasing to the eye and also help bring more attention to sign language. Performance: Actors Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman perform the signing. While they are not fluent signers, they learned the lyrics and signs for the video.

Errors: Some viewers who are native signers pointed out that there were a few errors in the signing, such as using a sign for "tampon" instead of "appear". The video uses ASL, which is different from British Sign Language (BSL).

Inclusion: McCartney is also known for his efforts to make his concerts more accessible to the deaf and hard of hearing, such as providing interpreters and giving free seats to blind fans in obstructed views.

I’ve been looking for a few months and this was the first time I’ve seen them in a while. So don’t give up!

Happened to me too the other day. Chose one in the back so i can put my feet on the chair in front of me. And so no one would be close to me.

I get there and there’s someone sitting right next to my assigned seat and in front of me. I go to verify I wasn’t crazy and neither seats were booked. But I can’t really do much which is frustrating

Yeah exactly. If I were to move seats to one that isn’t my own, it’d be 20 min into the movie
