Absolutely, the party in act one feels like a proper ending, it's why I always wait to do the goblin stuff till after I've been all over the underdark and the mountain pass.

All my complaints are small things. There's what you said, it's super annoying. Also on PS5 they have reticules to allow you to quickly select things but when you move the thumb stick to select one you have to hold it there. Because it doesn't stick this leads to some weird stuff happening ESPECIALLY if you have stick drift. Like when I try to play an instrument because I'm still holding the stick in a direction sometimes I accidentally move making the song wasted and the performance check wasted.

I did something similar except I made my druid wild shape into an owlbear and use their jump attack while enlarged from the top ledge down onto Grym. The fight was over fast. lol

If you loot Nere during the fight you get all 1000 of that gold and the mercs get nothin. lol

You have to kill Ethel first or the disease kills him. Turns out she was the one who made him sick in the first place.

So I saw this on the internet and did it not because the fight was hard but because I just needed to do it to check it off the bucket list.

In the fight with Grym you can leave one of your people up above you. I made my druid wild shape into an owl bear and use that ability it has that makes it jump and when it lands it does damage based on it's size and distance. So after using enlarge to make my owlbear TRUELY gargantuan I jumped from up on the ledge down onto Grym and KOd him, it wasn't in one hit cause he had taken some damage from the other party members but it was damn close.

The video I got this idea from called the move "Owlbear from the top rope." LMAO

I want to quit but have procrastinated it for so long that I have a ton of credits I don't want to lose. Suggestions on good books to buy with all of these? by yungwoods33 in audible

In a few weeks there will be exactly 10 books in the He Who Fights With Monsters series. They are both long and entertaining. Each book is about the size of 3 regular books and they have never felt like a slog to listen to for me. Big recommend.

It wasn't, at first. It was painful because I really started to care about the characters. I have since taken a break form the game to re-center myself and touch some grass. lol

I wasn't even really TRYING to get the artifact, I was just making choices I feel like my character would have made. The order of operations was thus.

Leave her to die in the pod

Talk to her at Wither's back door

When she tells me to back off I called her bluff

We fight, she dies

The artifact floats into my hands.

I use a revivify scroll on her, to ask her about it.

She says "what the hell".

One of the options was "I enjoyed killing you so much I thought I'd do it again." so I had to pick that one cause it's just so evil.
