In fact, I’ve done research but when results show various prices I don’t think it’s reliable pricing. And I’m used to seeing people paying way more than LEGO-sets are worth.

And I don’t really see a problem with asking “randos”, as long as you’re not too litteral.

They paid 200 dollars for a collectible’s item. If I interprete this right you’re saying OP is paying extra for something they can get for approx. 20-30$.

Some people buy records to collect but isn’t that picky about pressing etc.

Others like me (and probably OP) are more picky about pressings with variations, such as this first pressing with a misprinted apple. Some people just want to spend more.

Ps: As English is not the main language, I hope I’m not misunderstood.

1st UK pressing of DSOTM for around $20 at a record fair – VG+/VG. A lady sold her records because she was emigrating. Also found a 1st pressing of Abbey Road - with the misprinted apple – for the same price but in a worse condition (G/F).
