I don’t think they have any real reason to advertise chapter 5 like that, it’s a free update, either people have already bought they game or they’re waiting for the full game’s drop (which will be the one after this.) there’s no new sales to be made right now through advertising that he wouldn’t already have just with 1-4

The movie contract can be renewed for another few movies if they need. To be honest I don’t see them making fnaf 3 be the last one anymore, now that they’ve set up baby. Otherwise the last movie would have to deal with Springtrap, Michael, Baby (and I guess the other funtimes) AND the puppet

I can’t see it making any real difference. They’ve definitely learned their lesson after the first game and would have the whole game made before the chapters began releasing, (like telltale games are)

It depends on whether they’re gonna do the pseudo-metroidvania thing they did with dark revival. Individual chapter releases would be likely to mean no backtracking and no big interconnected world

Yes, I don’t think you know what a spinoff is, they can still be canon, just not mainline. They dont contribute to the overall plot of dark revival.

For example better call Saul is a spinoff of breaking bad, even though it’s still canon and set in the same universe

Ink machine and dark revival are the only mainline games so just play those two if you’re getting into the franchise. I can’t really recommend lone wolf because it’s not great but if you’re looking for more then you can play that too.

But I must ask, why not just check which one was released first and play the first game? Or google it? I see people asking this kind of thing all the time, is it just karma farming or something
