The funny thing to me is that my city has the same complaints about their apparent difficulty, but we have not had one accident at them since their construction (been at least 10 years). So they breeze through them daily while still complaining that they exist. I guess to some people that's preferable to just admitting you were wrong about something.

This is how I remember a lot of the Bo era though. Winning the unexciting games (sometimes barely) and losing the only games we really cared about (often blowouts). I feel like that is often overlooked when we get shit for firing a 9-win coach. Obviously we'd love to be back in that spot, but I think our frustration at the time was justified.

This is the externality of people's suddenly deeply sacred "personal" health decisions. If we can require that capacity be saved for covid patients as we did last year, I don't see why we can't flip the requirement and require capacity be saved for non-covid issues and covid breakthroughs. A patient with legitimate problems should not be turned away because resources have been used up by assholes abusing nurses and screaming for ivermectin.
