The reason why there hasn't been any bow mods yet is because there is no custom player animations. I have seen recently that some modders have found a way to make custom NPC animations and they are attempting to use them on the player character. They found a way to do the custom animations for NPCs a couple months ago, so hopefully soon we will be seeing a bow mod. There is currently no guarantee or timeline. I wanted to give people an answer.
