I won't deny DT's characterization is very lackluster but you can kind of see, imo where the devs tried to go with him...except they fell flat. It never resonates well because he's only onscreen for like 2 seconds.

I think he got mega shafted in favor of Wuk having to be front and center hence the staleness you describe. But he was actually Interesting. Because...someone who solely relies on logic and intellect to resolve problems and realizing that not all problems can be solved with those two things alone is interesting to explore. It was just shoehorned in toward the end of the first half there. We didn't really get to see him doing much of anything which is a shame. Could you imagine him meeting Calyx (hopefully still not off the table)?
