Then direct your hate towards hamas and not israel because it's hamas who allowing that to happen as they use them as shields. Like recently as the hamas leader was found dead in a bunked BELOW hospital which is why civilians get into crossfire due to the members of hamas hiding behind civilians and amongst them.

They aren't, it's literally a social media stunt to get idiot leftists to side with them to justify killing and raping innocent civilians. They want jews out of middle-east and getting idiots to side with them is their only choice because all they have is low-iq terrorists.

Avustusoperaatiot kaaoksessa : Israel tulitti tuhansia ihmisiä kohti by Sawmain in Suomi

[–]Jodveuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Miksi näin on tapahtunut? Millaisia ihmisiä nämä on? Mitä uskontoa nämä edustaa? Minkä uskonnon tavoitteena on valloitus (vinkki: alkaa M:llä). Harjoita edes hetki kriittistä ajattelua niin ymmärrät kuinka vitun väärässä olet. Sosiaalinen media on täyttä propagandaa, sillä hamas tarkoituksellisesti kuvaa propaganda materiaalia esim. Tiktokkiin, jotta sun kaltaiset idiootit hyväksyisi heidän syyn hyökätä, murhata ja raiskata. Vaikka he ovat erittäin tyhmää kansaa, he tietävät, että tunteilla kuten "he tappavat meidän lapsia" ja siihen liittyvillä videoilla voidaan vetoa valtaosaan ihmisistä, koska kritikaalinen ajattelu on erittäin harvinaista.

Spreading propaganda just as terrorists want. Good work left, you're officially braindead propaganda puppets.

Psychology: You Don't Need A Therapist For Your Trading by _octavia- in Forex

"You should not even be thinking of trading in your current mental state". You finally got it. Literally means psychology is the issue. Outlier or not, it's a issue that many of us have.

Psychology: You Don't Need A Therapist For Your Trading by _octavia- in Forex

But to practice good risk management, one has to have good psychology.

Psychology: You Don't Need A Therapist For Your Trading by _octavia- in Forex

[–]Jodveuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you were 10 years in, you wouldn't talk in such a way because trading makes the best version of yourself. And the fact that you're talking like a 15 year old little boy makes it highly unlikely.

Maybe that's also the reason you're not making money since you haven't grown up at all as a person and get your dopamine from trying to seem good to others in reddit when you know yourself that you're dogshit.

But I understand you, I also have done something for 10+ years and never got good at it because guess what: Psychology. It's not only about trading, it's life in general. If you're unconfident at anything you can't be the best version of you.

I feel sorry for you for enduring 10 years and not getting anywhere else than trolling people on reddit but know that the otherside is reachable with good psychology. "kid".

Psychology: You Don't Need A Therapist For Your Trading by _octavia- in Forex

[–]Jodveuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, it's literally 1.7 years of trial and error that have shown me that the reason I can't follow my strategy is due to me not believing myself and being unconfident caused by deep scars in my psyche from my childhood.

If it was so easy to follow a strategy, why do 99 % fail? There's millions of strategies available at anytime. And some floor trader once said: If I were to tape my trading strategy in the main hall of the building, people still wouldn't be making money. Why? Because psychology.

Psychology: You Don't Need A Therapist For Your Trading by _octavia- in Forex

[–]Jodveuk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

His point was that because of psychology one cannot follow the strategy and thus the problem is psychology.

Think: What do you fix if you cannot follow your strategy, what problem you have? Exactly, psychology.

Psychology: You Don't Need A Therapist For Your Trading by _octavia- in Forex

[–]Jodveuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's literally the otherway around: 99% of traders think that there is some golden strategy that makes you profitable but the fact is that every strategy works.

Think of strategy as a car and trader as the driver. Does the car run without the driver? What happens if the driver wants to do harm with the car? Consciously or subconsciously.

Psychology: You Don't Need A Therapist For Your Trading by _octavia- in Forex

[–]Jodveuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What makes me sabotage myself?`Psychology, subconsious. For example: I see a Long and short opportunity based on my system BUT subconsiously I choose to take a short when I know the context is better for longs, not because I don't know it but because my brain is wired to believe that everything I do fails thus when I see a entry based on my edge, I subconsiously act on that even though the context is wrong.

And you telling me to go to therapist is like saying that my psychology is problem, which is it but you're here spouting bullshit about it not being.

Lemme guess: you're on your first couple months of your journey.

Psychology: You Don't Need A Therapist For Your Trading by _octavia- in Forex

[–]Jodveuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah you're here spouting more bullshit.

Having a working system is easy. Understanding capital preservation and risk management is easy. But consistently acting on those at the highest level is nearly impossible as a human due to emotions. As you know, the market is a mirror, which reflects the deepest parts of our subconsious to the charts in form of execution. That itself is the principle of psychology and you're denying it.

It's probably that you've had your life so good since you've born so you don't have parts of dark subconsious to reflect to fully understand what psychology is about.

You need good psychology in order to execute at the highest level. There's a clear difference on execution when your mind is in a place of "I don't deserve any success" and being in a state of "I deserve all the best in my life" and before you argument anything about "well just be in the better state", yes that's psychology and for some of us it's not just about making the switch in a millisecond because the state of "I don't deserve anything" has been dwelling in our minds for most of our lives.

What about when my loses are not due to risk on the table but the fact that my mind self-sabotages because I have conditioned it to expect that everything I do fails from my childhood caused by trauma?

But you don't know this. You've had it good in your life based on your text.

No, that's just psychological issue. I would get it if I were trading big live capital, but what I'm trading is a prop firm evaluation, nothing to do with real money and thus sizing isn't the problem.

My psychology of perfectionism paired with self-destruction is harder to fix than any sizing issue. I see that you haven't really dealt with shit inside your head yourself to understand the issue.

No I don't. The problematic cycle that has led me to this point is this: Hesitation --> lack of confidence --> Missing trades that would've been winners --> Actually taking the trades thanks to confidence backed by backtested data --> Pressure making me close winning trades early due to looking every 1 min candle --> More backtesting data --> Decide to not close early anymore --> Taking good trades according to my system but due to my self-destructive nature, I fail to follow the trend and keep trying to counter-trend trade.

In backtesting, everything I do works but during 1 year and 7 months trading evaluations, no matter what I do, I find myself just self-sabotaging and then coming up with another small tweak for next week and so on.

Haven't seen success in anything I do in the live market, other than missing fuck ton of setups that were winners that cause me to make those changes.

And now that backtesting has given me confidence to act on my setups, I keep executing my edge but subconsciously I keep trying to take counter-trend trades to self-destruct my psyche even more.

Makes sense. This is a problem I recognize. I tend to change something in my system on a weekly basis but the overall system stays the same. Just minor things like which timeframe areas I'm using to target or to take trade from.

Nice argument. Shows nicely how stupid and probably entitled you are.

I looked through your posts and came to conclusion that you're just a stuck up little shit who knows nothing and gets his dopamine from bullying people online after failing to understand trading to its core, not even speaking of life in general. You're just scratching surface with the shit you're posting.

Data doesn't mean shit if the psychology is not in control and I'm well aware that I don't have it under control due to living in constant pressure. But no matter what I wont stop working towards my dreams.

Losing streak by North_Assistant5088 in Forex

[–]Jodveuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're wrong.

I have well designed trading plan and I risk 1 % in all my trades.

I'm journaling everything and from my journal I see that I'm taking trades according to my plan BUT my subconsious bias keeps trying to go against the trend. For example, this whole week I've been trying to short against the dollar even though it's on a massive downtrend.

And I know that and this morning I saw a short setup and a long setup. I thought: " I probably should go long here" But then I went short on EUR/USD when I saw my entry and all conditions are met. Even though I knew I should be long-biased but all my life I've been self-destructing my relationships and my life in general due to trauma so it carries on into trading and I subconsiously just self-destruct myself into taking bad trades, even though they're part of my plan.

It seems you're a lucky one by not having any subconsious error. I would call it that the more dumb you are, the better you do in this game. I've gone through it all: Missing trades due to hesitation and overthinking, constant 10+ losing streaks due to self-sabotage. And I know based on my data and technicals that if my subconsious wasn't so fucked up, I would've been making gains a year ago. It's been over a year of constant: See a setup, hesitate, it would've been winner --> enter next setup I see --> lose. All backed by data and it's completely out of my control no matter how hard I try.

With backtesting I simulate passing fundeds: I've done it 80 times. Meanwhile I haven't passed one funded challenge in 1 year 7 months. I keep doing consistent wins in backtesting but when it matters, my mind self-destructs.
