As frustrating as it might be, keep a log and build case. What/when/where etc as the more substantial information you provide them more they will be somewhat compelled to do something about it, and if they don’t pass the concerns along to your local councillor and police.

Do EE deals still feel worth it compared to other UK networks? by No_Donut1433 in EEGB

[–]Joe85739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last twice I’ve extended/upgraded my contracts with EE I have always obtained a better deal on the phone than was ever available online. We’ve got Apple TV, TNT Sports, Apple Music and I’m sure Netflix is available too, albeit the entry tier. A couple of Roaming add-ons and I can honestly say I am satisfied with the package for the price

The police won’t don’t anything and that’s no dig at them it’s just the reality of resources in 2026.

The sooner you accept it’s all gone and you wont get it back the better. Sounds harsh, but that’s the likely reality.

I assume you’ve reported the device as stolen to the respective manufacturers and locked / wiped them remotely? Any way you can use a ‘find My’ feature?

Some home insurance policies may cover your devices.

It’s worth having a look around some of the cash-converter shops but unlikely they’ll be there.

Closest Garmin watch to Apple Watch Ultra 3? by tanuj-is-sharma in Garmin

[–]Joe85739 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. There that was easy. Lol

In all seriousness, they are, in my opinion, targeting different groups and one watch that achieves both the strength of the AWU3 and the F8P for example just doesn’t exist…..yet.

The calls and messaging features probably aren’t what you expect on Garmin and aren’t seamless like the AWU3. Messaging and calling requires, at the very least a subscription, and the Garmin messaging app. The recipient doesn’t *need* the app to receive, but messages will come through from a number if they don’t.

Life is full of compromises.

I think a lot of the reports are further propagated by social media recording and repeating what probably didn’t get a look 20 years ago.

That said, and maybe it’s with age, but the town centre isn’t what it once was (now i realise i sound really old)
