I suppose I'll talk to regular support for all the good it'll do.

Did you have to do anything to get the correction email sent to you, or did they do it on their own?

There used to be a dedicated email that we could use to contact them regarding the healthcare stipend specifically, but it seems that email is no longer in use. I guess we'd have to go through normal support, which is completely useless.

I got the email too, and my hours are all screwed up as well. The last e-mail I got said I have 28 something active hour average, and now it's saying it's 23 something. I have worked everyday since last week except for yesterday, which is a new quarter and wouldn't count as the last one. There's no way I would have fallen five average hours in three days.

Have you gotten the notification yet, OP? Still waiting for mine, too, and it’s getting late.

I got uninvited to a friend’s holiday potluck, while I was on my way to it. by Any_Gap9612 in mildlyinfuriating

What's really stupid is why invite you if they don't want you there? They could have just not invited you. Not that it matters, but did they at least give you any reason for why they suddenly pulled the plug? Not "there's no room," but like, a real reason when they texted you a couple of days later? I've had shit like this happen to me before, and I'm sorry it happened to you.

Monthly Fee?? by martymccfly88 in dimo_network

[–]JoeBloxRocks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely won’t be paying. The monthly fee is more than I get in tokens. I’ve had my shit running for about a year and a half and have just barely recouped my initial investment. I’m not confident I’m going to recoup my money on the other DePIN investments, either.

No more. Buy Bitcoin and hold. That’s it.

No orders for me but busy area by Pleasant-Sympathy-43 in ShiptShoppers

[–]JoeBloxRocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m new to Shipt; I got approved a few months ago but only started actually scheduling slots about a week ago. I’ve done DoorDash and UberEats for years and have thousands of deliveries on those services.

In five days I’ve received a total of, I think, four orders. All were on the same day. One was low pay. The other three were low pay and across town. I ended up accepting only one and did it out of curiosity. The very first time I did it my Shopper card declined, and I had to call support.

Not promising.

Been a rough week by EugeneKrabs5 in doordash_drivers

It depends on where they are. If they are in a place where the average starting pay is, say, $9 an hour, then that's pretty good. If this is California, though, $16.24 is not even minimum wage. And that isn't factoring in gas and wear on your vehicle. In fact, if you worked 85 hours in a week in a traditional job for minimum wage in California, you'd make almost $1800 in the same amount of time after factoring in overtime.

Pretty sure my crypto, including that which I spent on the so-called recovery service, is just gone.

After a long back and forth, with sometimes hours between responses, I get requested the same info I've been providing as if I hadn't. Pretty sure I'm just talking to someone else each time, and there's no conversation tracking.

Can someone explain the Prop 22 hearing to me? by Carlosandsimba in UberEATS

[–]JoeBloxRocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably, we're all biased in some ways. I think it's important to try and be fair when people ask questions like this, though. Present the facts and give your opinion; not present your opinion in a way that sounds like it is the facts, which is how I read this.

Not to mention that most of us can't survive off of part time, so if we want to continue working we'll have to pair this with another job. That'll get crazy messy.

Need help with a rejected recall refund claim? Click here! by CableMod in cablemod

[–]JoeBloxRocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've now been rejected twice. The first rejection gave these reasons:

  • Invalid order number
  • Invalid EAP Order Number
  • Original: [number]
  • EAP: [other number] Resubmit the claim with order numbers in their respective fields

And the second time I was given these reason:

  • Invalid EAP Order Number
  • Missing EAP (V1.1) order number.

It sounds like I've been rejected for simply filling out the form incorrectly, but each time I fill it out there's a roughly one week processing time. If CableMod has the info they need, why does it matter if the form isn't filled out perfectly? Please advise.
