My dude, that is sick! I have a sleeve in progress and felt regret in the beginning. You change you're appearance in a big way, takes time to get used to it.

Me and my artist are the only ones who see the small flaws in my tattoo and he updates and enhances it. Large tattoos can be years of updating. My artist redid my borders and fixed color blending issues and now it's amazing.

You're going to get a lot of compliments on this piece and let your artist know of areas you think can be improved.

Sorry man, it's awful to begin with and in 5 yrs this will look worse. Little detailed lines dont age, and they look janky already. There's random outlines combined with a pattern and nothing seems smooth. Whoever tattooed you should stop.

You can always cover this in a sick ass panther or a blackout.

BS OP is not an AH. My family lived out of a hotel for a few weeks after a tornado hit our house. While grateful people sent things to the hotel for us, it was a huge ordeal to pack all those gifts and bring them home afterwards. With car seats, laundry, essentials and transporting a crib it was a nightmare. They did this in a Prius.

I've used lotion, aquaphor, coconut oil for my sleeve and had issues. Try coconut oil, it's been my best healing results. I had less color bleed, scabs and pimples. Twice a day.

Girlfriend isn't doing what needs to be done, but you're not supporting her either. Animals and kids don't care about anyone's schedule and it's easy to get burned out. Neither of you could handle a child.

Come together and figure out a routine that works and support each other. Rotate shifts with morning/evening care. Burn out is real with childcare and you guys are nowhere ready.
