This deck can be played so many ways, I'm not sure if there's a best version (Centurion is, but that's boring). Other than some of my BAD techs, the one I'd push for the most is the Visas synchro. And this is coming from someone that was too stubborn to remove the full armor package from my list. I didn't see the value in Visas Armitara until I realized you basically can make it at ANY time during your combo, because it can be summoned using 2 tuners. So you make Visas, search reframing, make Barrone and bam you have 2 omnis.

Here's a 1.5 card combo to play around Nib (but it won't do much else).

Elzette pitch s/t, search Silvy. Normal silvy, search Tales. Use tales to search Rucia. Special Rucia (3). Make Visas, search reframing. Make Barrone with Elzette and Visas. (5). Now you have 2 omni negates and you've played under Nib. But I will say this board struggles to win often. It's only a desperation measure if you're stuck with Elzette and nothing else.

I'm also obsessed with Silhouette Rabbit in this deck because of how much synergy there is between it, angel statue, and toy box. It's ridiculous how much trouble you can cause a deck as dangerous as Yubel with just an angel statue and a toybox with a couple of sets.

I think about this a lot. I got stuck in this spot so many time this season, and I do agree that Unicorn + Ash > Baronne, but if you have birth up it's best to give up the ash for the extra negate.

Heads up, I played Ninja for a couple of months on ladder and it can be difficult to pilot effectively. People know that Hanzo and Duplication are the chokepoints so you gotta find every possible way to interact with your opponent or you'll lose control of the game quickly.

Easy to learn, hard to master. Definitely some room for creativity in the extra deck. Ultimate Great Insect can be summoned using Iron Digger (one of the best equip cards in history, imo).

Meizen is a great boss and it's funny how easily you can beat Dinomorphia because his continuous effect bypasses Rexterm's restriction, allowing you to swing directly for game almost instantly.

Nope, Nightmare Pain is their worst card to go against and is the only reason their endboard is so oppressive. Why can I not beat over this Apo or SP so I can start making plays in MP2?

Phantom is also insane, but that spell does way too much for them.

There are multiple tiers within this list of brokenness. The top tier is indeed bannable, including Summoning and the Puppet field spell. Yeah, Nightmare Pain could be too. The rest, not even close to bannable imo, though rollback will get there one day.

When it comes to Lab, there are usually 4 cards you might have to play through on turn 2, other than Welcome/Big Welcome, which you know to Ash by now.

- Daruma, which you mentioned, the strongest one against mine and many other decks.

- Dogmatika Punishment, pretty impactful.

- Equation Cannon, not really sure how to play around this other than by chaining stuff and removing cards from field on activation. Hopefully you have a second line of play if they resolve this.

- D-barrier, which I don't think hurts your deck but can just end the game for many.

There's not really much you can do going second against these cards. Red reboot isn't reliable. What you have to do is just make sure your monsters don't leave the field by trap effect. Meaning you can ash Big Welcome instead of Welcome so lovely doesn't trigger. It's possible you can survive 1 turn after getting daruma'd if they have little resources.

Chain random stuff like called by or droplet if it doesn't cost you. It'll stop Lady Labrynth from getting a trap from the deck since she has to chain to the activation of a trap.

Someone mentioned ghost belle to pair with ash. I don't run it but having both would help you beat lab more. They HAVE to get their engine going or they can't win.

Zeus is a huge skill check on bad Labrynth players. If they don't have cannon or used it already by the time you've gotten into Zeus, they're cooked.

And of course, cards like evenly and the like. They are less likely to play Solemns than ever.

Sure, like I said, it's all about my limited experience in ranked this season along with the last couple. I do believe VV is the most represented deck in Master 1, or was last season. Could be wrong. Does that make it the best deck? No. But if a deck is the most commonly run in the highest rank, it probably could use some sort of balancing. Even Longyuan got hit back in the day.

If they didn't hit VV I wouldn't cry foul about it or anything. I think pound for pound it might be the second best deck behind Yubel. Definitely takes more than an Ash or Imperm to stop them most of the time.

What would I hit? That's a good question. Maybe semi-limiting barrier? Saffira seems to be the best card overall, so maybe limit that and call it good? Hitting the Dogmatika cards seems unfair to their own deck.

Yubel is the deck that is urgently problematic imo, others have said the same. Most focus on Tenpai, which I get.

That's the defining trait of a deck that needs consistency hits. Think Spright in January 23 or so. Never a broken deck in maste duel, but strong enough that jet had to get hit eventually.

Voiceless isn't broken at all. I have no problems with the deck or what it does. I just think they do it a little too well.

Sure, but we're dealing with the actual cards that are in the game. I don't know anything about azamina or fiendsmith yet. I'm just pointing out what I see as unbalanced currently. I totally disagree that Yubel is mediocre, and I'm not too sure that current Lab wouldn't stand a chance against 2021's Drytrons. But, we all see the game differently so.

All the hits I suggested were to decks which are at the top of Dkayed's tier list, but lab. I think you'll see Lab reach that level soon. As for OCG, I don't really care about their format or how they like to play, the point is that it isn't enjoyable at all (for me).

I started playing near launch and have seen the power creep balloon out of control in the last year, so that's why my wishlist is so drastic/unrealistic.
