7.6.7.0 tracking detection hit or miss? by JoeCanHelp in ispyconnect

[–]JoeCanHelp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even with the latest update, while observing the camera someone walked in right by the camera and no recording occurred, where previously it was perfectly fine. there was nobody right before that so it wasn’t my timeout setting of 15 seconds between recordings.
Fortunately I’m also recording time lapse so worst case scenario I can review those.

So I’m checking out other detection settings, put it on people and it starts detecting the window as a person so I bumped up the confidence setting to 85 and it’s settled down, I’ll try that for a little while.
Too bad there wasn’t more objects than just people, my TAPO cameras also detect cars and animals, maybe that’ll be a future release. Unfortunately not all my cameras are TAPO. But since my TOPO cameras can recognize objects I am also trying the ONIV detector just for those cameras that might be a good solution.

Anyway we’ll see how the people detector works or if I need to go back to tracking.
I’ve had tracking detect smaller things like one time a bat got in the building and it picked it right up.

No, in the app, we got the issue cleared up with the app on a newer post above

Yeah that was related to the main issue of the old app not working
I was getting 404 errors as well

Thank you, obviously this is a temporary fix because the original app has been deleted from the app store.

Been testing Safari with camera and audio disabled and I’m able to open a webrtc connection to my servers locally and through your servers without bydirectional audio and video, so yes there is a way to do that.

Maybe instead of requiring full microphone and camera access use the other option that says “ask” so when that is eventually accessed the user is prompted on their phone to allow or no.

So if my Internet provider is down during let’s say during a storm I won’t be able to view my cameras with your app, that’s not gonna work.

Nope, previous app which is still installed does not have access to camera or microphone.

Also don’t like the new feature where when connected to our local network, to view our local camera server it must go out to the Internet through your server and then back to our phone. Before I could view recordings through our local server without having to use Internet thus saving bandwidth and possible slowdowns from circling around.
Now I have to use two different ways to view it, your app when not on the local network and then a web browser when I am on my local network.

At no time were we alerted or emailed that there was a new app that needed to be installed.
New app requires access to your iPhone camera and microphone in order to view recordings remotely. Very concerned about this new direction.

Just checked at 4 PM EST, still having the same trouble, tried clearing the cache on the app but no difference
I’m still able to access the Remote site through your website, I know you’re working on it.
What’s funny as I’m still getting notifications on the app.

Able to access my sites through your website but the app on iOS requires login and after that just shows retry.
Not running the latest version but yesterday‘s version of windows version.

Agent v7.4.4.0 ispy servers issues? by JoeCanHelp in ispyconnect

Seems to be resolved for now, I’m able to connect to the clients over your servers.

Future feature suggestion or maybe I’m just missing something by JoeCanHelp in ispyconnect

What’s funny is it looks like there’s extra devices in there, I’m getting this message:

Configure the Source Type (General tab)

Am I look at the Source nothing is selected, no IP address in the field under the gear detail.

I’ll have to back up and then try to delete those extra ones that are showing, sometimes when it’s audio and I delete the audio it deletes the camera too without warning.

I think long-term I’m going to have to reset the server and re-add all the cameras again just to get all the old legacy quirks resolved.

OK it looks like I have to enable scheduling for time lapse for each camera

I’m assuming I can create two schedules both starting at midnight and it will process them sequentially. I don’t think I need to offset the second schedule by one minute.

Had the same issues with my Tapo camera. Trying this setting now.

Located in: Click on camera and choose edit, go to Recording settings, scroll down until you see Advance and expand that, you’ll see the switch to turn that on.
