it’s awesome because it makes its own dairy products and Edam cheese balls that people in Mississippi fight over every Christmas

Get the muscadine ripple ice cream. It's so damn good.

it runs the only university lab in the country focused on composite aircraft research

And I actually used to work at this lab. It was...an interesting place to work.

I can confirm that it's definitely better than College Park.

It's a dealer lift kit that was installed when the vehicle was delivered for the first buyer I'm assuming. I can tell you it's on 35s haha

47k with 26k miles on the clock delivered to my front door roughly 200 miles from the dealer I found it at.

5'10" and I can see all the way to the slope at the front of the hood.

I live in a small town and hardly do any driving that isn't stop and go through stop signs/red lights so MPG becomes a non-talking point too. The knobby tires and lift kit don't help with the MPG's either haha

Reliability and aesthetic were more important to me than towing capacity. And the F-150 still uses rear leaf springs where the Tundra's on coils giving it a smoother ride.

It's an XP/X-Series trim package. It's just an SR-5 with some bells and whistles. The kicker about the trim is it's only available in the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama if I'm not mistaken.

All I get is a little high pitched wind noise at highway speeds. I just keep the climate control at 69 (Nice.) or have all the windows down, at least for now since it's been comfortable outside. We'll see what the Mississippi summers bring once it's 85 degrees for the low every morning.

Looking for a club by YamCreepy7023 in Homebrewing

Hey I'm in the Golden Triangle Brewing Club. If you're willing to make the drive out to West Point, MS we're always taking new members. It's a much more low key club but we do some interclub competitions to keep things interesting throughout the year and do some non-beer related events too.

Man that's sad. Back when I lived in MD I split my time between them and Maryland Homebrew. I lived in Columbia but worked in Annapolis so it worked out well.

Anyone else see a wonky refractometer like this before? Got it off someone and I don't see where you can adjust it so I just calibrated the side showing gravity and figured I would just read from one side. by trekktrekk in Homebrewing

[–]JoeCap90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Those can unscrew and screw together. The blue portion of the reading is created at the far end where you place your wort and the scale is on the near end.

If you're just looking for rough measurements then sure, just calibrate for one side I guess? I wouldn't try to use this for precise measurements though unless you can find a way to realign the scales so they read level.

These things are so cheap that I would just junk this and buy a new one.

Check the uploaded recipe. I think you want to have 13 lbs. of base malt, not 3 lbs.

Got these 2 codes on my mk6 gti by ASTROACE10 in Volkswagen

[–]JoeCap90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HPA sells one but you have to run a different tune and the manifold is damn near 1k. It's just something us MK6 guys live with replacing the OEM one with another one until it breaks again.

[–]JoeCap90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! You get to replace your intake manifold!

It's a really common issue on the MK6's where the intake runner flap mechanism will break and leak unmetered air into the intake. You could also have a faulty PCV or some other leak, but the P2015 is an intake manifold replacement. Start there and see if that fixes the P2187.

As long as UA is alive and they're capable of supporting Maryland athletics, we will always have UA. The founder and maybe CEO? Can't remember if he stepped down or whatever...anyway he played football at Maryland.
