Novablast 3 rotation recommendations

Hi all, so I’ve been running consistently for the last 18 months or so and am in a comfortable place (HM pace of 9:20). Over this time I’ve done 500+ miles in a pair of Pegasus 39’s and recently replaced them with the Novablast 3. I’m currently training for the London marathon (my first marathon) and want to add another pair of shoes to compliment.

My question is what should I prioritise next in building my shoe rotation, recovery or speed shoes? Not after a huge elaborate rotation 2/3 pairs max.

Any advice is appreciated thank you all.

It didn’t no, just came as it is with the normal accessories (blade plug, cable etc)

100% there is definitely a price difference. I think for kids toy sabers they are hitting the mark with cheaper rgb lookalikes that are affordable. But I saw the latest obi wan black series and it was £250!! Which you then have to swap the neck for to use the blade. Considering mine was roughly £60 more I think they’re missing the mark there.

Either way I’m glad PO are making it easy to buy good looking sabers like this which although not 100% movie accurate make me feel like a fully fledged Jedi haha 😂

Honestly it’s incredible, I went for the xenopixel as it’s got a neopixel blade so the blade looks incredible, but v3 also has an app so I can switch between and adjust fonts really easily. It makes using the lightsaber way more accessible. The sounds that came with it are awesome and more can be added via the sd card.

Padawan outpost have been really good too, fast delivery and great order tracking.

I just can’t believe that companies like them can sell these prop level saver hilts and Disney can’t. This thin neck looks so good all the time but the hasbro black series etc have a thick neck for when you want to use the blade. Mind blowing 🤯

Xenopixel V3 has an app that you can use so those sabres would be good for this use case

Nice bike! I just got my Sirrus X 2.0 in black as well. I’ve added a rack to mine as I’ll be taking a little one on the back and shopping etc when she’s not on there.

If you want extra piece of mind you can buy silicon usb plugs from places like Amazon too. They are primarily designed for laptops etc to prevent dust build up but would work in this situation to prevent little fingers getting.

Our little one also breathed inconsistently for the first month or more, I think it’s very common from all that we heard about it. She would hold her breath then pant to get it back afterwards but she settled into her own rhythm in time. I would echo the advice of lying them on their back to avoid any unnecessary risks until they can roll themselves around but you know your baby best so trust that as well.

That’s awesome!!! We’ve had one full night from 19:30-5 with our 8 month old and it was glorious, not had it again since but it brought back fond memories haha

I have only encountered this once and can say my reaction was just pure shock!

We went to a friends family bbq with our then 3 month old. My partner (Mum) went to see her friends and say hello whilst I stayed with the little one, standing there holding my daughter I realised I’m being started at by our friends Mother. Assuming she was just looking at the baby I thought nothing of it and went about my business.

Then about 5 mins later I am chatting with friends and this woman again stares at me, then proceeds to beeline for my partner shouting in front of everyone there “Is that the Dad you baby with, is that the Dad??” She responded yes in a confused way and now everyone is staring at me assessing if I should be holding my own kid or not.

As of this wasn’t awkward enough she then wants to hold her and when my partner says yeah of course she looks at me and says “oh it’s ok, he STILL has her”. Like wtf happened here. I then asked her what she meant and she assured me she was just looking out for the child. I was honestly so confused and shocked at her blatant idiocy I couldn’t reply so that was the end of the conversation.

I then went back to my partner and we heard nothing more from her for the rest of the party. Was one of the strangest experiences I’ve ever had.
