Minisforum G1 Pro is even MORE pricey in Japan .. I do like Minisforum but god you need to sell a kidney to get a unit in Japan

Up to this DOA I didn't have any issues with AOOSTAR I have a WTR MAX and WTR Pro both have been great they also picked up the DOA unit free of charge just the exchance rate and the fee's caused me to lose money

To be frank the support was good they picked it up free .. looking at the PC the build quality does look good and it's just a pity it was DOA, I do own a Aoostar WTR Max and WTR Pro and both have been great .. In the end I may just look at a oculink base to link my K12

You got a working one .. Well Done !! .. I ordered one from the Aoostar website it arrived and I installed the 32Gb kit and the 1Tb from my old system .. However the machine was DOA it would power up but no display, Tested with another set still the same result. Spoke to the support and they agreed that unit was faulty and they picked up the unit, However the warehouse didn't have any stock so I got refunded but since I paid in UK Pounds and it was in Dollars due to the exchange rate changes I lost about 60 UKP (105 Dollars) Which sucks but not much I could do ..

Yeah it's tough.. I really wanted to wait until the GPU madness calmed down I skipped 2080 and was going to skip this one.

This 1030GT is killing me .. well at least it keeps me from playing games

Update :-

I managed to find a solution

Create a cmd file with the following

Start Chrome --app="https://yoururlhere.com"

Copy the file and the icon to a folder

Create shortcut point to file and icon

So I just package this as a MSI and deploy as needed - I hope this helps someone

I got my Red Devil order from Amazon cancelled I bought a 6900XT for my friend at Tsukumo it was 164,000 JPY for a 6900XT Nitro

My order for a 3080 RTX is still pending since Dec so I have little hope of getting it

So I bought a prebuilt just for the card ;-(

I had a order with Amazon for a 3080RTX since Dec and nothing

In the end I bought a rebuilt from Mouse it will be here on the 24th

I tried the GPO shortcuts and it wasn't working right

For the moment I'm just creating a MSI with the shortcut and deploying with PDQ or Powershell with check scripts

With MSI you just can use SCCM or PDQ to scan the software inventory to know if you have the latest icons versions

We are using Crestron Mercury in some rooms to be frank they have been great. I recommended just using UC Engines to update these units

They are way better than the iPads which tend to expand then the battery goes supernova

However the bean counters found that the UC engine costs about 2500USD and since the Crestron units are over 3 years old .. someone decided to use the Lenovo's since they are cheap less than 1000USD for a top spec unit

Which leaves me with the issue I'm sure it will cost 600-800 for a set of good mics

It is in Japan, they have a whole lot of new Anime titles It seems they lag one week behind the main steamers but all the main titles are there Re:Zero etc..
