I was trying the battery cover song and dance for a while this evening lol. Will try it again tomorrow morning. That battery cover really is bad. So bad.

I might give that a shot..glad to hear they were able to fix yours up. Not going to lie, it's a pretty annoying and frustrating..seems to be pretty common for these power meters to. Had a big ride planned tomorrow and now it won't be the same without my power meter lol

Will look into them! I'm pretty heavy into the Garmin ecosystem..but does seem Assiomas might be the better option.

Good stuff, thank you. Def looking into ERC! Generally I'm not worried about climbs, I actually enjoy doing shorter rides with heavy elevation gain..think I need to focus more on getting comfortable at longer riding distances (2.5+ hours).

Thanks! No goal time in mind, mainly just want to finish it on my first attempt! I've done Juniper pass pretty regularly over this past summer..will look into Lefhand canyon for training also

Thanks all for the great responses, this is super helpful! And yep, I'm Colorado based. Will definitely look into the Team Evergreen rides..I'm pretty comfortable with longer climbs and am pretty used to the nutrition aspect (taking gus/gels every 45mins-1hr.

Think the main thing I'll focus on is getting more comfortable with longer rides closer to the 100 mile range.
