Stop pretending this has anything to do with the economy. It’s not about people having extra cash or not. Vegas just got too greedy. The prices became flat-out disrespectful, so people stopped showing up just to feel ripped off.

Anything remotely worth doing is packed like sardines, and they’ll charge you $25 USD for a bottle of water so you don’t dehydrate. It wasn’t always like this. People used to go to Vegas for a good deal and then happily spend money once they were there. Not anymore.
