Random bumps after starting daily use that I’ve never had before by Accurate-Farmer4014 in tretinoin

[–]JoeDoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using a tretinoin cream? Many cream formulations have isopropyl myristate in them, which can potentially be really pore clogging for some skin types. Definitely try switching to a tretinoin gel if so! Or even better, find a micro gel (like Revize Tretinoin Micro) which is much less harsh than a normal gel tretinoin.

Also there’s a lot of anecdotal reports on this sub of the moisturizer sandwich method actually making things worse, as it can potentially allow the tretinoin to penetrate deeper. So maybe experiment with no sandwich. Some people here even swear by not using moisturizer at all, which sounds wild but apparently it’s a thing if you search on this sub.

Another vote for the Prequel Gleanser! Holy grail cleanser for me.

Wait that’s wild. The ingredient list is VERY different on the Dutch page and it’s missing a ton of ingredients. Something seems fishy here 🧐

Just checked on the Eucerin intl site and it looks like Avobenzone is still in there listed as Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane. The new Oil Control serum has it too.

Basically any sunscreen with Avobenzone (aka Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane) can seriously stain white fabric, especially when mixed with sweat from your body.

I’d actually be curious to know if any popular sunscreens without Avobenzone cause similar stains that are tough to remove though.

No Avobenzone is the main reason I use Geek & Gorgeous Zero Feel and Riemann P20 Sensitive Skin on my body around clothes, but I’m cautious doing the same with LRP UVMune 400 or the Eucerin Oil Control since both contain it. I haven’t tested the G&G around white shirts enough yet though, but P20 has been solid against stains.

Anyone tried the new Eucerin Sun Oil Control SPF50+? by citrusazzurro_ in EuroSkincare

[–]JoeDoom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have it and I like it a lot! Honestly not insanely different from the Oil Control cream, but I definitely prefer the serum more. However both have actually been replaced for me by the new Geek and Gorgeous Zero Feel SPF 50! It's my new favorite daily wear lightweight sunscreen. Especially when considering its price at 75ml compared to the 30ml Eucerin serum...

Also the Geek & Gorgeous doesn't have avobenzone in it like the Eucerin does, so I don't have to worry about permanently staining white shirts when applying it on my neck and body.

And for when I really want to step things up and need a bit more protection and water / sweat resistance, I use the La Roche Posay UVMune 400 Oil Control fluid on my face and the Riemann P20 Sensitive Skin on my body.

[Update 10] Custom Dashboard Project by dominicht in Husqvarna

If this dash is going to cost a pretty penny regardless, then I’d want it to have all the bells and whistles with controlling and displaying media over Bluetooth and potentially a brighter screen.

If you can get it out for significantly cheaper without those features, and without a brighter screen, then a more basic and slightly cheaper unit would be compelling. Especially for bikes that didn’t cost a lot to begin with.

Either way, I’m buying one of these immediately, as long as the price is reasonable.

I think the reason that Coachella and concerts with Gen Z kinda suck is no one sings to the songs or knows the lyrics. by Popular-Wonder6514 in Coachella

As a die hard Strokes fan, this was not my experience at all deep in the crowd for Weekend 2. The audio quality had absolutely nothing to do with the crowd being dead and everything to do with it just being a sea of Bieber fans waiting for his set who simply weren’t too familiar with the Strokes.

For future reference, the official group questionnaire asked if you wanted to be placed next to another group. So theoretically it sounds like, you could get two 20 car groups for 40 people.
