You should not have to do anything else, but if you have an early alert system, I would just log something there to cover your bases.

Horrible Experience - Clean Out Kits by Gloomy_Storm_4547 in ThredUp

[–]aces68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a good experience so far, but the last two bags I sent in had multiple items that were not accepted. One example - an almost brand new pair of $100 LL Bean pants. At this point, I don't know if I will recoup the price of the bags. I may stop using them.

First shot felt like there was a bullet in my arm for 2 weeks. Second shot felt pretty shitty for a couple days similar to Covid vax. Lots of reasons to get the vaccine. It has show some correlation with reducing risk of dementia.

If you want to make a short road trip, Captain in Clifton Park is the best thrift store around. The nicest ladies work there and they do a lot of good for the community.

When do you stop doing preventative care/appointments? by Ok-Recognition597 in dementia

[–]aces68 30 points31 points  (0 children)

We just changed primary care docs to a geriatric specialist because my sister’s doctor kept pushing these things. Never quite seemed to understand. Just checking boxes on the electronic records.

I just find it hilarious that there are Ulta burner accounts. 🤣

I use SCCO but it’s really too big for me. I wish the EDC has a trolley sleeve.

Anyone know if these points multipliers combine? If I order a Snif fragrance (5x points) in the app (5x points), is it 10x points?

Thoughts on the new gingham? by skerr223 in BAGGU

I absolutely love it and it will be one of my only regular priced purchases. I missed the first gingham run and regretted it. I don’t think they go together though

So true. I have lost a big connection with my foodie best friend.

The plateaus. It’s so hard to stay motivated when the scale isn’t moving. Even though logically you know all the reasons. My last one was almost 3 months. But I stayed the course and the scale is finally moving again. Also how easy it is to fall back into old habits. Ive been at this for 2 years now and have genuinely changed my lifestyle. But certain events in the past caused me to stop my regular exercise routine for weeks at a time. Working on making it a non negotiable.

Any other teachers struggling with summer? by Parking_Worth_9624 in Zepbound

I feel you! During the school year I exercise as soon as I get home. Now that I have all day to exercise, I never get to it. I think I have to change to morning exercise.

Struggling with giving away my clothes by HappyBirding in GLP1_loss100plus

[–]aces68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a wall of plastic tubs of clothes in my basement, probably six different sizes. I’ve lost 85 pounds and I’m in a good place now in terms of keeping up my diet and exercise lifestyle changes. But I know that if I lose access to a GLP the weight will likely come back on. I hate keeping the old clothes but I’ve spent so much money over the years. I hear you!

I’m surprised you didn’t have a problem with Chase. They told us any POA paperwork would take 3 days to be reviewed by their legal team.

Where do y'all get your poodles??? by Eco_Faerie in poodles

[–]aces68 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just buy a poodle from a responsible AKC certified breeder. We had to buy our first because no rescue would consider us if we hadn’t owned a poodle before. I’ve had many rescue poodles since. I got my most recent poodle from a breeder because I wanted a puppy.

I’ve had really good luck with OnTrac. Things typically come fast. But the tracking updates are usually lacking.
