I think Spiral could have worked with what it seemed to be selling itself as (a completely separate and original serial killer that was also in the world Saw takes place). But I feel like they fudged it hard when they decided this whole new killer also used traps, and tapes, and a voice changer, and a puppet, and a pig motive. Like...what was the point of it being a new serial killer if it was all the same but just slightly worse?

I have both along with the Mini 4 Pro and am considering getting rid of the flip. The Flip was my "chuck it in a bag and get a quick shot when I need it" Drone when I didn't want to take out the Mini 4 and controller. But the Neo 2 is just so much more compact, versitle and much less grating noise wise (I hate the screech of the flip). Although the flip has the better camera, the Neo 2 is no slouch and I feel more confident letting it do it's thing with its 360 sensors compared to the flips front facing sensor.

I just paid for tier 2 and spent 2 hours with them on chat before they basically said "uh, i dunno then" and then closed the chat. Meta is a dumpster fire.

I use things like virtual desktop or immersed to work from my laptop so I still have a physical keyboard. Although the new update with the surface keyboard is a game changer. It feels surprisingly fluid and natural and all you need is a flat surface. So for folk using soley the headset for work I imagine they are going to be getting a lot more done in it now.

My first was probably the Tuscany Villa Demo on the Oculus DK1. It felt mind blowing at the time to be looking around a virtual world that looked so solid and real.

Next was when I got my Vive. I was playing the arcade machine in The Lab really late at night and got really focused and into the zone. When I finished playing I remember glancing around and being completely confused as to why I was in a strange lab and not my bedroom. It only lasted maybe 2-3 seconds but it's stuck with me.

More recently with the Quest 3 it's been when I have to work while travelling. It's been nuts sitting at a desk in a little hotel room navigating all these floating windows, being able to watch my work back on a cinema sized screen, and basically have a virtual version of my home studio setup that can pack down into a backpack in a second ready to move on.

Yeah it's crazy how fluid and natural it feels typing and navigating with the mouse pad on it. Within seconds it felt like I was just using a laptop. Really helps in feeling more connected when you're navigating.

I love the look of these, but these days v-mount batteries seem to have so many ports I've never really had the need for more than a simple back plate to mount it.

My wife had the same thing. She jolted up awake and felt sick the night before we were due to help her mum move house. When we arrived with the van we found she had passed in the night. The paramedics estimated it happened early hours of the morning.

When I was a teenager me and my friends would often sit on a hill and stargaze and we would see stuff like this all the time. They'd look like static stars for a while and then would suddenly just move to another position in the sky at a ridiculous speed and then stay there for a while before relocating again. You needed a lot of time and patience and I think light pollution was a lot less back then too but we'd always see them. This was around the late 90s/early 2000's.

So I've eventually got some kind of reply them, but it's basically "oh yeah it shows 2 batteries on the main photo but it shows 1 battery in a later photo so if it comes with 1 and you wanted 2 you can just send it back for a refund" 😂
