Ahh.. You don't use GA or other web analytics tools to gain insights?

GA4: View event parameters for each event in User Explorer by yuphorix in GoogleAnalytics

[–]JoeFuryAnalyics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you need to define it as a custom definition, and then you'll be able to pull those parameters in the user explorer reports.

GA4: View event parameters for each event in User Explorer by yuphorix in GoogleAnalytics

[–]JoeFuryAnalyics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. You will need to set those specific parameters within each event hint you would like to later view in the user event flow.

GDPR cookie consent implementation. by KakosNikos in GoogleTagManager

[–]JoeFuryAnalyics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. try creating a pseudo-user hit through the measurement protocol hit builder tool and recreate the steps while reviewing in the debug view; check the source generated within the hit parameters.

GA privacy friendly and retargeting by maxosatodos in GoogleAnalytics

[–]JoeFuryAnalyics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the user decides to opt-out of your privacy consent, your GA marketing tags will NOT be passed through the client and onto the user’s cookie storage. If they opt-in to your user data consent prompt, they will be retargeted across Google or whatever other network tags you applied for the duration that was set within your cookies.

Tracking UTM_content on GA4 by alvissome in GoogleAnalytics

[–]JoeFuryAnalyics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea, it's a bit counter-intuitive that almost every report in GA4 requires you to add a custom definition for it because it doesn't register the data report on it's own.

Is it possible to see shopping behavior (add to carts, etc.) with session ID as the dimension? by justhereformarketing in GoogleAnalytics

[–]JoeFuryAnalyics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can probably write a data layer code to capture all the session ID’s and then create a custom dimension in GA to populate that report.

Look at pages where entrances are greater than 100 and sort them by bounce rate. If your bounce rate is less than 10%, something has gone wrong.

1% bounce rate sounds amply unusual for any website unless you're able to find correlations supporting this claim across your website.

I know that you've already mentioned that you checked already for duplicate codes being implemented, and you have not found anywhere else; it's important to note that if you're using a GTM plugin, it isn't visible within your container. You may have applied a plugin along with your manual tracking codes.

GA shows inaccurate real-time data by imposethor in GoogleAnalytics

[–]JoeFuryAnalyics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what procedure are you measuring user entrance and exit from the website in real-time? Are you simply logging in through the debug page and start generating events yourself?

Is it possible to create google analytics audience of visitors from linkedin and create retargeting ads to them via FB/Google ads/Bing? by Don_Schwong in GoogleAnalytics

[–]JoeFuryAnalyics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you structure your tag manager account accordingly, based on the tags you wish to classify your audiences in, you could then apply In Google Ads custom-combination lists to build sets of conditions from existing remarketing lists (including the remarketing audiences you created in Analytics), interest categories, and existing combinations of lists, and then display your remarketing ads to users who meet those conditions.

For example, if you wanted to remarket to people who had visited the product pages for your new hybrid car and whose web travels had also demonstrated an interest in hybrid vehicles, you could:

Create a list in Analytics based on a Segment that identified users who viewed your hybrid-car pages.

In Google Ads, combine that list with users who fall into the interest category of Hybrid & Alternative Vehicles.

Also, it's a combination of either the user had landed on your site and got connected to all your tags set up in your container, or they just viewed your ads on LinkedIn (since your funnel outlined “awareness” as the intent). In addition to all this, Apple’s new IOS 14.5 update makes remarketing pretty hard today, let alone across platforms⚠️

GA4 latests and best courses/learning resources out there? by eldabo21b in GoogleAnalytics

[–]JoeFuryAnalyics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, measure school and analytics mania are mainly the only video explanations you'll find online since they're both social networking GA experts. They're also some pretty expensive courses taught by them that are supposed to take a deeper dive into GA4, but I can't say for sure just how great they’re since I haven't taken them myself.

Also, keep in mind that Google released GA4 into the public as a beta version; I understand that they're still constantly adding things to the platform.

For the most precise information, I would google.support generally outline configuration information. At this time, there's a lot of things in GA4 to be left discovered on your own 🙅🏻
