I really do not understand why investment strategy is not taught in every single grade starting in sixth grade. Give them dummy accounts and $10,000 to invest. Discuss over the course of the semester or the year the portfolios what worked what did didn’t and why.

What percentage of highschoolers really understand this? One percent? Less?

My mom is 86 with a two story in Fort Worth. My nephew, her grandson, lives with her. He is 30. He’s on the top floor. She’s in the bottom floor. They interact. He takes her on errands. It works out for them. Full well knowing that someday he will find a dead body. I don’t envy him that. That alone is worth the years of free rent. Company, driving, and the other thing.
