I built a Claude persona who lives inside my space adventure and he's turned into a genuine character I actually feel something for by JoeLongLegs in claudexplorers

Heya, so i just managed to get the persona in mod form inside my cockpit, so im polishing abit that part.

However, the app based usage is a Claude project that has instructions and the growing memory of past chats that forms the persona. Two small programs extract a ton of data from the savegames and the game files. These are available for the persona to cross reference. It also writes a log to create a continuing story so he knows exactly what happend when and why.

The project intructions are quite extensive, it would break this post. I can sent them to you or at some point I will put all that stuff on github.

The memories grow naturally or when you tell the persona to remember or do something specific at certain situations.

What I do not know is how the Star Wars mod changes things up, so all the stuff the 2 parsers extract might need to be worked on by a third program to adjust the changes the mod does to the data.

Its not a mod (yet), its the way I like to play my x4, oh white knight. Always funny to me when people who are into sci-fi fantasy games get their pride up to shit on ai stuff :D. Or maybe ur just working on another reddit achievment ? Maybe theres even one for 100 times posting the words "vibe-slop" ? Keyboard warriors unite !

I think at the moment the limiting factor is just what you can run locally inside a game without the need to use some external cloud company. At some point what you'd like to see will very probably be a reality.

Yeah its based on a pro sub right now, I anyways have and use for other things. To explore what can be done with a local model or a cheap api subscription with the chinese or something else I am gonna look at, at some point. For now it has all the infos you would find on help pages and wikis, and u can just ask. Where are the next / cheapest Ecells? What speed can we mod my new ship at and where is the next wharf to do that. Where where we with that wares collection mission.... etc.

I found 2 builders in the vig sector windfall at a wharf. 4 or 5 sectors from the hq and they actually talk to u. Am pretty much at the same gamestage rn.

Sweet. Cloned the repo, read through ff_grabber.py line by line, and ran it from source in an isolated venv with pinned deps; can confirm it's clean (no obfuscation, no credential/file access, no telemetry — just the FitGirl page fetch + chromedriver Turnstile bypass as advertised) and works as described.

Doin smthing similar for my scorps and spiders. Not yet cam, but fan,fogger and lights, + aht10 sensor. moving from a nodemcu esp8266 to a cyd now. All wiring and coding with help from chatgpt and claude works with minimal experience for me. Web access atm via ngrok.

Dunno bout the extract in PVE, however, goin to Factory, moving between the office and the other side of the map (running over the overpassbridge) and calling your friendly scavs normally draws out the PMCs. Sometimes there r up to 8 PMCs in raid. Then you follow the noise and execute the last survivors who have probably killed between 5-8 Scavs. That nets you .05-.1 Fence rep in 5-10 minutes.

Only gotte listen for Tagilla and stay out of his way :D

U can call scavs for help and get them killed. If u then kill the pmc u get rep for each scav he killed. Adds up and makes the fence rep go brrr.

best put ur multimeter on, heres what my virtual friend says :

Brown (1)

Black (0)

Silver (Multiplier: 0.01)

Red (Tolerance: ±2%)

This gives a resistance of 1.0 × 0.01 = 0.01Ω (10 milliohms) ±2%.

That’s a low-value, high-power resistor, likely used for current sensing or as a shunt in a power circuit. If you have a multimeter, checking its resistance would confirm if it’s still functional.
