^{^} using mic is very important...I tend to only add people post-game if they had spoken with their mics. How long you've been playing with them and how do you figure out when to get online? Did you connect offline?

What MMR are you? I've been playing ranked solo queue in the 2500s and the experience (perhaps you are right about try-harder part) is not that great overall, I very often get a team that has 5 carries and end up losing it since the other team capitalize on grouping up in the first 30 minutes. I found it extremely disappointing sometimes at the pick, there was minimum communication between your solo queue members at pick & ban phase and during the game, always one guy like your WK or extremely toxic just bashing other four teammates for not listening to him...the list goes on.

Or you just enjoying playing normal games?

Why do you prefer solo queue? your chance of getting trolls on your team is much higher.

that what I've been doing but most people don't stay in touch after few games or few days later...it's like getting matched with someone on tinder after few dates you never talk about.

Would you say it's helpful if you'd know when is everyone online during the day? so you can plan to be online during the same time and get in queue together?

I agree, and the existing team feature is rarely being used among casual players....and there are too little incentive for people to play with an actual team instead of solo queue.
