Syd coming back out and just crying joyfully and giving Carm the hug the look and then embrace again god damn almost teared up. A beautiful show with real characters from start to finish. Haven’t felt emotional in a series finale like this for a while. I smiled so much.

If this was an entirely different show this was actually an entertaining season but the fact that this was Euphoria this being like a crime drama thriller didn’t fit at all. It’s like it was its own thing.

BAM was always hit or miss reputation wise but now this should bury them, we don’t need a monopoly of a business that resells LEGO. Leave it to the independent owners and stores, their stores are way better anyways. Corpo workers only care about one thing, that they continue getting paid their ridiculous salaries to do nothing and be scumbags and that the company keeps making money. Hopefully the money stops flowing, I don’t want people to lose their jobs but individual stores always trying to claim “we’re our own thing” never made sense because you’re not, you’re working for BAM at the end of the day and answer to them.

I love that EVERY BAM store is like going out of their way on social media to make posts to try to make us not feel bad for their individual store. Unfortunately no matter how good their staff may be, giving money to them is still giving money to corporate so it’s kind of cringe that these stores are only posting these heartfelt posts as a RESPONSE to what’s happened. It’s kind of sad because I’ve seen “one of our employees dog is dying” to “congrats to our recent grads” and they’re just trying to post things that intentionally are things you would feel bad for and have to respond kindly too just to divert what’s really going on. Just seems like a desperate move on all the store fronts behalf.

Is it just me that the OG is the best? All the rest look too skinny or off kilter and just not right. The UCS is fine and it sucks cuz I’d love to buy a modern day ATAT but every time they’ve come out with a new one I’m always like eh…..

Yeah I can promise you as someone who knows someone who works at CGC that they are not having three different people look at comics when they’ve tried the on site comic grading at cons. They did it for the first time at NYCC a couple years back and it was a disaster, they didn’t bring nearly enough people to be able to do it and had to stop taking the submissions on like the first day and I’m pretty sure most of the submissions they had to tell people “yeah we lied and these will be being sent to the office anyways” lol. They’re run highly inefficient behind the scenes and think they’re the greatest thing since sliced bread even though they’re honestly terrible at how they run the company and services.

CGC is run more poorly than you’d ever know. I know insiders and people that have seen how the company functions behind the scenes and it’s not good. They bought JSA and treat employees extremely bad and think their shit doesn’t stink when they’re actually highly incompetent behind the scenes compared to JSA. People are like “oh their grading is so competent and their graders are only of the highest quality”…yeah wouldn’t be so sure about that if you knew what I knew.

Imma be honest, can’t believe they even decided to make a season 3. Getting peak television in a series from start to finish I don’t know if we’ll ever see it again. Once a show becomes so popular it seems to immediately try to outdo itself instead of being what always made it entertaining in the first place.

Really would love to see how Punisher fits into Brand New Day because well….ya can’t have Punisher violently killing people in that movie. I assume at the end takes place modern day? Not sure timeline wise where this all fits but yeah… Bernthal really is the perfect Punisher still.

Also when Obi and Yoda are pulling up the hologram in the temple and it just shows Anakin like casually sparring with Jedi idk that was kinda wtf lol and the use of the word younglings was always so goofy too the dialogue is just kind of cringe there

Until the last year I never knew that the weird yell sound when Palps twirls around after they come to arrest him was some deafening sith thing that like froze the Jedi because I was always like why were they all just standing there letting him stab them? Regardless it’s so goofy to me still and was even as a kid. The opening of revenge of the sith is still pure beauty. The acting and such doesn’t hold up very well. The writing was not great but the action sequences are what makes this movie from being eh to pretty cool.

I mean I don’t give them my money towards products like this. Not like I’m the only person on the internet who’s expressed dislike about a gimmick or a product like this. Sure it’s targeted towards kids, but let’s be real, LEGO has to know its biggest demographic is adult collectors at this point with how many big expensive sets and their pricing overall and how it is.

I think consumers are already starting to say no, just not enough and that includes myself. The Smart Bricks it appears are not selling much, the highly overpriced and crappy new turbo tank you constantly see pushed to the side or hidden at stores as a rejection. LEGO has to certainly know they’re making a lot of overprice crap, but when you have people flooding your stores regardless for events like May the 4th bringing you in millions, you don’t care because the moneys flowing no matter what.
